Using the carbide system to program siren/pattern tones that 'revolve' in succession with the push of one button rather than trying to find each pattern on the controller while handling the task of responding to call. just like a horn ring cycle but on the controller. feel free to check out the other vids and standby for more!

That's too hard. MY old Crown Vic with a Federal siren / light module used the steering wheel to change siren mode.

I agree. This is why the rotary dial is still popular. We used the 21 and slide for our demo vehicle because it could fit all the features on it. 😂 running the horn ring or having a rotary is still the best way to go 👍

Shouldnt it be to the horn, not a button on the controller? Ensuring 2 hands on the wheel while responding?

Most vehicles you gotta take you hand off the wheel to press it anyway. The F150 is a hard horn to press. The term "hands free" is a lie. It's just a way to make changing the tones less difficult under the stress of driving. This example was done just to show externally of the car horn how the system can be programmed to cycle tones. You can also cycle flash patterns to create your own visual effect on the road. 👍

@@evosolutionsllc.910 Makes sense. Ive never been able to use a 21 button controller, always had a rotary knob with HF at the top wired into the steering wheel.

@@masonpletz7033 yes rotary is the way to go for response if you don't have the horn ring active. It's just for the sake of the demo the 21 let's us have more versatility to make demonstration easier. I would HATE to have no horn ring and no cycle button programmed. Last thing I wanna do is take my eyes off the road to look for the next siren tone. 😂
