People enjoy watching these and leveling series, it's his job and his views and exposure affect his income. His warrior was dead, and the lock videos probably got fewer views when he started raiding. He was probably bored with casting shadow bolts that just resisted half the time. It's not top of the shelf content. So him seeing his KZfaq statistics increase and how much exposure his close calls and death videos get. He probably got an idea that the clip would spread everywhere, as a result. It attracts more people to his channel now that hardcore is very popular. I think this was a genius pr stunt. Think about it, he is the guy that knows almost every aspect of leveling hardcore vanilla and what to do in most situations, so him dying like that gets a lot of clicks. I mean, fat finger shift-t and q in its self is actually hard to do. Now he can focus on leveling and reacting. Instead of spending that time in ZG. He also edits his own videos that he posts 2 of every day.
