well, jaguars aren't very dangerous and there haven't been very many human deaths caused by them (the amount is closer to 0 than 15) so, the man would've faced some serious face licking and nibbling however leopards, tigers, etc. are an entirely different story

I don't believe everyone thinks this jaguar is aggresive... If it wanted to kill him it would have.
@VikramSingh-qn9rl5 жыл бұрын
Noobfest It’s not trying to kill him because he’s not hungry. But the root cause of this behaviour is not friendly. Big cats typically stalk prey when their backs are turned. Btw this guy literally almost got killed in almost identical fashion. A tiger sitting nearby saved his life by attacking the leopard.
@medexamtoolsdotcom5 жыл бұрын
Vikram Singh you're an idiot. The root cause of this behavior is entirely friendly. My Troubles (housecat) would do the same thing and she not only didn't want to hurt me, she was in love with me. She got incredibly remiss and terrified when I rescued and cared for a little kitten for a while. That wasn't because she was afraid the little kitten would steal her lunch (me) from her. That was the jealousy of love. She was horrified when I showed her a halloween prop of a fake severed leg. And she stayed by my bed the whole time whenever I was sick. That cat had more empathy in her left back paw than you do in your entire body. But according to you, she would have killed me if ever she got the opportunity and if only I wasn't 10 times her size. These animals don't conform to your strawman of them. Fuck you.
@VikramSingh-qn9rl5 жыл бұрын
medexamtoolsdotcom yeah Troubles is a domesticated animal. It doesn’t matter if you keep a housecat in the wild it’ll still be domesticated when you bring it back in. Domestication is caused due to random genetic changes. A fucking panther on the other hand is a wild animal bringing it in doesn’t make it domesticated it’s still genetically different from a house cat. The same difference is present in wolves and dogs, just bringing a wolf inside your house doesn’t make him a dog. So your heartwarming story about your housecat doesn’t apply whatsoever when talking about a panther. BTW this guy almost got killed so if you want to pretend that a leopard and a cat are the same thing be my guest. I’m not disputing the fact that your cat loves you I have several dogs myself but that has nothing to with wild animals. I think you need to read more about how animals were domesticated in the first place before forming opinions.
@VikramSingh-qn9rl5 жыл бұрын
medexamtoolsdotcom It’s because of ignorant people like you who can’t tell the difference between wild and domestic animals that thousands of wild animals and wolf dog hybrids have to be euthanised. People think wolves and dogs are the same thing and get a hybrid puppy because it “looks cool” then when they realise they’ve made a mistake by taking in something that belongs in the wild they have them put down. SMH even 3rd graders know the difference between wild and domestic animals. There are some exceptions of wild animals who live in packs that can be friendly but that doesn’t mean they’re domestic
@theshermantanker70435 жыл бұрын
@@VikramSingh-qn9rl You do realise that's what they do to their owners as fun right that cat would kill him anyway if he wanted to surprise or not

Years ago, I got into a conversation with a couple of Big Cat "companions" at Marine World Africa USA. in San Jose Calif. For the first year each companion, all had a zoological degree in big cat behavior, is given a cub to take home every night & raise. Each companion spends 24/7 with their cub until it's at least 1 year old. Fully grown now, there were 12 Tigers roaming around a huge enclosure behind a 14ft chain fence, with five or six 'human companions. Some of these guys were on their fourth or fifth big cat they raised. Whenever one of the big cats started stalking a human, or another big cat in the enclosure, it was immediately stopped by a loud whistle, a loud vocal "Ah-Ah " by any of the experts, scolded, then its attention was diverted with a game of ball, playful wrestling, swimming with it's companion in a big pool, or even a good cuff behind it's ear...just like it's mamma would do in the wild. I asked why.... these experts told me it's extremely dangerous to allow a full grown big cat stalk a human or another big cat, even though it's been raised since birth by that human. Big Cats are NEVER, EVER really tame. They're still wild animals & stalking MIGHT lead to a full blown attack if left to follow their natural instincts. There's always exceptions to the rule, but I don't see why this wouldn't apply to Jaguars as well.

Chill everyone it was clearly just playing. And by the way he recorded it makes me believe that it plays all the time like this with him. Haven't you ever watched animal programs? Cubs play by stalking sometimes and its all just for play but is actually practice for when they eventually will be living on their own. Plus you can tell by its whole demeanor and and reactions that it had no hostile intentions at all.

it will seriously maul him and could very, very, easily kill him. big cats have an instinctual drive to stalk prey sized animals with their backs turned. It doesn't mean this guy doesn't enjoy the company of his human buddy, it's just that his instinctual drive is at least as loud as his rational.
