Untill recently I didn't know about Kashmir and what happened there. The liberal media keept telling us that Hindus hate muslims and we should learn tolerance and kindness. Its the social media and digital revolution showed us the reality. But by the time 3 generations have already suffered. I can never forgive these crooked tv medias for keeping us in the dark.

As a kashmiri pandit it feels very emotional listening all those stories from parents, Grandparents. I have lived in kashmir, at least u can see the structure of your house bt when I went to my village there was only tree of walnuts as house was burnt at that time. Proud to be a Kashmiri pandit

Came here after the Kashmir files. Very emotional. At that time it must have been vibrant with diversity, culture, thoughts and still togetherness. Today it's a dead land. I can understand why your father does not want to come back. Life is to move on. I hope you all are doing well. Kashmir is no longer a paradise now.

@@agirl1849 मानता हूँ मैम आपकी इस बात को लेकर फिर भी क्या तीन लाख में से तीस हजार के पास भी छोटे मोटे हथियार नहीं रहें होंगे जबकि वो लोग आर्थिक रूप से सक्षम थे।मै यहाँ यह बाते अपने मनगढंत बातें बना कर नहीं कह रहाँ हूँ ।मेरे भी दो चार कश्मीरी पंडित मित्र है और ये बातें स्वयं उनके हृदय की है और इन बातों का अफसोस उनके परिवार वालों को भी है की जब इज्जत को सरेआम बेचा जा रहाँ था तब वो केवल भागने की सोच रहें थे।दो चार लोग जो आगे आएं भी उनको भी लोगों की सहायता नही मिली। और रही बाहर से मदद की बात तो उस समय कांग्रेस का शासन था।वो तो आज भी विरोध कर रहें है और उस समय तो उनकी सरकार का गृहमंत्री भी एक दानव ही था👍👍

Aryan Singh बात तो आपकी सही है सर पर वही बात है कि 3 लाख़ में बच्चे-बूढ़े भी थे और बाहरी सहायता के आभाव के कारण लोग काफी़ हद तक विवश थे | सब भाग गए थे तो जिंदा हैं | अब उनके पास पूरे देश, UN का सहयोग होगा और खुद में काबलियत है | मेरी नज़रों में वह अपने हक के लिए लड़े हैं, बस तरीका अलग था, जिसमें उनके संस्कार एवं साहस दिखता है |

This is not a story of just one kashmiri family but all those who had to leave kashmir and went to either jammu or muzaffarabad. I couldn't stop crying, i been through this, i migrated from kupwara district to muzaffarabad under same circumstances in 1990. I wish i could also get similar opportunity to go back to my village, meet my sister who got stuck behind. This has been now thirty years since i left my village, my land. We kashmiris are suffering and only we can alleviate our sufferings....if we get united and bring peace to this heaven that has been turned into a hell ........

I was not born in 90,s but my mom usually says about his school teachers whome where kashmiri pandits and she also tells me if they would have been here kashmir would have been heaven..... My colleagues in the accountant generals office were accommodated in our office in Gujarat. They used to tell a lot about Kashmir, their home, garden and peaceful life until 19 January 1990. They had a very tough time in hot climate of Gujarat. As family members got separated so it was mentally painful too. Very tragic but no one raised voice in India at time. I feel so sad to remember their condition.

I live in Kolkata. Just a few KMS from my House there is a sewerage. Though it's a drainage I find that more beautiful than the Jannat called Kashmir. This is because of the people who have never made me feel alienated inspite of me being a South Indian. Kolkata doesn't belong to me I belong to Kolkata.

@@malluedm7577 no dear it’s all safe but now they have got settled down in a city where they have all the facilities and if you can see that they are from Ganderbal village of Kashmir which is still underdeveloped and has no way comparison with Jammu in view of facilities and western life but good thing is that their house and land is still there as they have not sold it, it proves that no forcibly occupation of houses has took place after or during their migration,I really want all my kashmiri brothers and sisters to come back home ,we love you all.

Hizbul Mujahideen is the one who openly threatened the return of Pundits. . During the 2016 Kashmir unrest, transit camps housing Kashmir Hindus in Kashmir were attacked by mobs About 200-300 Kashmiri Hindu employees fled the transit camps in Kashmir . Kashmiri-Hindu Sarpanch Ajay Pandita Bharti in June 2020 . What i said is the return of all the Pundits and their families who exited the valley is not safe. Their might be groups active in the valley who could turn the situation hostile twords them just like 1990. Why put their life once again in danger.

My Dad was posted in J and K before 1989 and we cherished the best moments of that time. There was peace and prosperity at that time .....In Srinagar we lived in a Kashmiri Pandit family house ..... Dal lake shikara.. Chasme sahi water fountain .. Shankaracharya Temple ..... Gulmarg i still remember vividly although i was just 10 years. I miss those moments but enjoyed it to the max......

We couldnt see our Grandparents and we were driven out and my father spent the whole college in Assam in Army Refugee Camps tje whole college and Was denied UPSC job just coz he didnt have Indian passport . We came in Haryana during 1990 when masjids give order to go from Kashmir I remember when I was only 6 years old we use to play together with Muslims and my grandfather was priest in temple we used to go to temple daily with grandfather and I remember that one day Muslims came to temple and said to leave the temple and my Muslims friends were also with them at that time. I was very little child to understand that things.in 1990 me and my total family fled away from Kashmir after they came on streets and says "we want aajadi" And "Kashmir mein agar rehna hoga to Allah Hu Akbar kehna hoga" That's what I remember totally This proves that Muslims are only Muslims they fight for Islam only nothing else even if they are your friends or whatever. Now I am 36 years old and I have a team for sanatan 😊 I want to show that Kashmiri. Hindus are brave and have power to save their religion.

Interestingly the story is same on this part of India - Bengal. My forefathers from Chittagong , Modern Bangladesh . Millions of Bengali Hindus left their ancestral homes in East Bengal ( Bangladesh) . We are born here in Kolkata only heard stories of the riches of East Bengal. Only saw pictures of our abandoned house which was a Bungalow( most Hindu homes used to be Bungalows) . Since the majority of Hindus left East Bengal it separated from India and become Bangladesh and only become poorer and worse living condition day by day! and today the ultra green paradise of Bangladesh has one of the poorest living condition in the world. The Hindus of Bangladesh are carriers of the original native culture of Bangladesh . Its gone now by and large! Many of the Muslim Bangladeshis regret now but its too late! I really hope that does not happen in Kashmir , because Kashmir is in India and Indian society should not make the same mistake again . We still have time to bring the native Pandit culture back to Kashmir to some extent!

Got recommend just now. Kashmir indeed was a paradise and now look at it , its nothing just a centre for current regime to play political games. I do not know what happened to kashmiri pandits but i and i am sure whole kashmir would be pleased to welcome you back and let me say this, had you visited a few years ago you would've experienced kashmiriyat, the same thing that is in your heart as well as mine and that separates us from the world. But now with modernization people are no more what they used to be. After watching this video i felt like you did not receive the kind of welcome you deserved. Running high on nostalgia right now. And these people cursing in comments below let them bark...

Your mughals with their huge army couldn't beat Marathas. Your aurangjeb died here in Maratha land fighting Marathas and he couldn't beat them. So before making madarsa chhap claims, educate yourself

I watched this after the removal of 370 so thought it could be good for kashmiri pandits and other minorities who were thrown out from their own land... Govt really should do something on this.....

Sister you made me immotional and weep because i am one among those who were forced to leave their motherland. I was in class 10th when we left our beloved motherland. I still remember the day when i with my parents left the village early in the morning. While leaving i saw my childhood friend, a Muslim boy, from a distance who was looking at me expressionless and confused. I still remember his face.
