Omg..this is what a real chinese university looks like!!😍it somehow matches the university shown in cdramas. The students are so disciplined and friendly to talk with foreigners. The problem in India is politics, election in every 5yrs make it hard for party to focus on long term plans, also so many political parties fighting each other and brainwashing people with their ideologies. While China has only 1 party while western nations have 2 party but here in India 50+ parties. Also talking about Human rights i know were this is coming from and believe it Human rights issue was under Mao leadership not current leadership. They care about there people and there are number of incidents when Chinese protested for some policy and govt. had taken it back also no doubt in Covid crises people were forced to stay in there houses. But overall Chinese government care about their country growth, development and people's interest as well. No doubt why china looks next superpower and as Indians we should learn from them.

A small clarification> when you ask a Chinese student simply by WHICH YEAR (ARE YOU) , to them it means you are asking which year they were admitted in the uni. And it is quite commonly used among themselves when introducing one to another. For example, someone would introduce oneself by saying MY NAME IS xxx, I AM YEAR 18 STUDENT, MEDICINE MAJOR. It means they started uni in the year 2018.

Most advanced tunnels and bridges for railways and highways, fastest subways, huge next of high speed trains, the non high speed are faster too, newest airports, train stations, ports with digital systems, most advanced electric grid, most advanced coal and nuclear power plants, most advanced solar power farms, most advanced 5G networks, and most advanced EV charging facilities.

@@harshaarrfan freedom, well I moved from California to China a long time ago. Yes the US has some freedom but China has more. Actually we should start with democracy. True democracy should be top down and not bottom up. e.g. China is producing 10 million+ university graduates a year. Just 5 years ago there were 100,000+ middle and high school dropouts, now less than 5,000. The improvement came from the government project of eradicating all absolute poverty, completed last year. 800 million absolute poverty 40 years ago, last million 5 years ago. It is the responsibility of capable government serving the poor and the weak and not the responsibility of the poor to ask or vote for their needs. This is a basic concept of Socialism built upon democracy for China. That’s why China doesn’t have problems of shootings, opioids, evictions, homeless, hunger, inflation etc like the US. In the US, the conditions are so bad now that only rich people are free. In regular neighbourhoods, robberies, gangs, thefts, and drugs are severe, streets are dirty, roads are broken. Good kids might get caught in 200,000 dollars of student loan, retired men might have sell their house to pay hospital bills. One of worse deprivation of freedom is media propaganda. How can people be free when their minds are controlled. Since the beginning of Covid, every line in the NY Times about China is either twisted facts, half truths or outright lies. Western media lies for many reasons such as war profiteering. However they lie about China on those issues precisely because they don’t have much freedom, democracy and human rights. Recommend you watch Bernie Sanders Addresses Oxford University on KZfaq. Also watch some Jeffrey Sachs speeches.

One of the excellent videos, showing the university of China and conversing with international students. I watched the vlogs of other indian youtubers visited China. The cities are clean and people are disciplined following the Traffic rules. Footpaths are excellent without any illegal encroachments. Chinese people are very courteous and helpful. Only language is barrier. In this vlog, Pakistani girl is decent, helpful and well conversant with the city and accompanied him at most of the places. All the best for your future vlogs.

Actually, common people would be friendly to them. I know several Chinese people who have been living in Indian cities like Delhi, Bangalore etc for years and said that they like India. There is a community of Chinese in Kolkata which is several hundred years old.

Don’t be so pessimistic about India’s development, when I visited Beijing China from Australia in 2010, I was shocked that there was NO carrier for international mail delivery! You have to go to Post Office in person, but it only took 3 years, just make a phone call, the carrier turns up in 20-30 minutes, this is called development! India can do the same I believe, just be humble and learn from Western countries like what China did.

To all Indian (and even Chinese) friends who want to get more insights into rural China, I would like to recommend the channel “Katherine’s Journey to the East”. Katherine is an American who got a master’s degree from a Chinese University, used to date a Chinese guy (I always wonder if they actually got married), and is currently working for an environment advocacy organization in Zhejiang, China. Due to her fondness of the Chinese countryside, she has made tons of videos of many Chinese small towns and villages while biking through rural areas that even many Chinese people have never heard of. These places are all over China and many videos were shot with her ex. Her channel is highly recommended if you are interested in knowing China better.

Apart from the western parts of China, there are some in the southern province of Guangdong and there are even some around her ex's old hometown in Heilongjiang in the northeast. Many of them were actually taken in the east, particularly the provinces of Jiangsu and Zhejiang. For example, her most recent videos are about a 2000-km bike ride she took in Zhejiang.

Culture wise both india and china have many similarities, especially We respect Taoism ,Zen of China. Also chinese are more ethical then Indians in numbers. The only and important thing we would not put China equivalent to india is consumption of non veg food. That's quite normal. I am a Chinese and I went to college in late 1980s. My uni is Huazhong Univ. of Sci & Tech in Wuhan, which had 50,000 students and staffs at that time. The place was remote, 12km to downtown. So my uni was actually a town. We had at least 5 canteens, super markets, post office, book stores as a normal town has.

China, despite being in the same situation as India in 1947, have completely overhauled themselves and become an actual superpower. The main reason is their system of governance, a strong centralized bureaucracy that is focused solely on the national-at-large and not much concerned with individualism of its citizens. China gives its people the basic necessities humans need to not go against their government. Food, Clothing, Shelter, Education, Healthcare, Employment, standard of living and sense of security. Other than that, every year the Chinese government assesses what freedoms they can give their people, to make them happier, but not so much that things get out of control. China has slowly liberalized over the last 8 decades. India, unfortunately, gave too many freedoms and liberalization to its people immediately after partition, people who didn't even know what to do with such freedoms. Focused too much on its democracy, India falls behind on the basic necessities mentioned above that its people need. You will not rarely find an uneducated homeless person in China, but India has the world's largest. People point at China and say they're communist (they never were). There were Marxists from the 40s-60s because that was what was needed for a large poor country. Then they became socialists in 70s-80s, followed by democratic socialists from the 90s onwards. Now they are moving towards Liberal Socialism. India started as Liberal Socialists and are now going backwards, rather unfortunate to say.
