Let's be honest, pokemon have a WAY worse way of life than pals... let's make a list, okay? To get a single day of vacation they had to wait until Sun and Moon, they were fed berries until Ruby and Sapphire, then moved to pokepuffs (basically candy) and only much later they finally got to actually eat normal food; they are literally nomadic 100% of the time following a freakin' ten years old that won't chip up for a hotel room if it kills him, despite having tons of cash (seriously, my trainer in Emerald has about three million pokedollars in his wallet!) And worst of all, they have to listen to freakin' Ash Ketchum rant and rave about the power of friendship and trust... right before sending pikachu out for a battle against a freakin' FLYGON or stuf like that (affinities, b***h, ever heard of them?). Dude thinks he's in My Little Pony, believe you me.
