It was a death I gladly faced, because it was freedom from the bonds of ignorance and evil. If a grown man had threatened me with violence to intimidate me into pretending I believe in Scripture, especially my own father, I would’ve run screaming from the truth of the Catholic Church. Instead, good Christians changed my heart with their example of honoring my dignity and respecting my intelligence, and keeping the door open to talk whenever I was ready. And now I am devout Catholic who is absolutely in love with the Lord, and I believe Scripture with my whole heart. Keep praying for her, talking to her, and living out the example of your faith, and I’ll pray for her too. It works.

@@OrthoLou I can agree with that. I think like Eve though, those demonic women were tricked, whereas the men, like Adam, knew exactly what they were doing. The end result of feminism made women the slaves of bad men. Evil all around. Edit: Father Ricardo explains it really well, I’ll paraphrase him: the world has been formed by evil men, and then a bunch of women who were sold the lie that it would be “empowering” to mimic bad men. The end result is no virtuous men or women.

@Trinity M 1. We aren't a democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic. That's why the Germans rank higher. 2. Our government is in gridlock because we have people who would be tyrants on both sides. The Constitution creates a system wherein their desires conflict, and hence they are played off of each other, preventing tyranny. 3. It also guarantees citizens of the United States rights without which a free society is eroded.

@Trinity M There is nothing wrong with criticising individual constitutions and clauses within them. The First Amendment of the US Constitution fails at protecting free speech for example: Texas is unable to defend its people from social media censorship because 1A says "*Congress* shall make no law..." But Constitutions themselves are a stroke of utter genius, from Magna Carta onwards. And it is the job of the patriot - the loyalist - to defend his nation's constitutional principles from revolution.
