Rajan crying at 1:49 is one of the most underrated moments of this movie. Yes, this movie was about Ishan and Ram Shankar Nikumb, but the mental support which Rajan had given Ishan throughout the movie is unmatched. Very rare to get such true friends like Rajan. Along with Nikumb, he too was desperately waiting for this day when his friend finally gets the appreciation he deserved. Truly a hallmark of an ideal friendship...

1:49 - An emotion only felt by a true friend. Rajan couldn't hold his tears of joy when he finally saw Ishaan receiving a standing ovation for what he's really good at after seeing him go through mental hell trying to cope with the 'harsh discipline' of the school. A true friend who partakes in their friend's joys and sorrows and having each other's back! This bit always has me tear up!

Something so underrated in this entire scene is 1:18-1:28. When Ishan trips, Aamir Khan is there to prevent him from falling. He then takes him to the stage but leaves him on his own to walk and get the award. It just fully captured the role of a teacher: support them as they stumble but let them get the full credit they deserve

1:22 The moment when you realise that the kid who have been trolled for his mistakes , failures and everyone laughed at him and now the whole crowd is clapping for him.... And when he gives hug to Aamir khan that scene hits tooo hard at the moment we can literally see the whole past of the kid in just one frame.. although I watched this movie for the nth time yesterday and i cried at this scene and I'm watching it today and I'm still controlling my tears

I think aamir with this move wants to convey the message that when anybody be it a child or a grown up man/women gives up, thinking that he/she does not deserve anything in this world he can't do anything that a normal human being can easily do so when that human being achieves something that is difficult for a normal human being to achieve then his/her mind freezes for that moment and while with this psychology it happens with Ishan and Aamir a guy who pays a lot of attention of Ishan's pyschology thinks at the nick of time that Ishan may collapse at that point of time so he goes up to give Ishan that support according to me aamir has thought In this way(as he is the director)

I can not describe my journey from nursery to today when I am in class 12th ,always an weak student, hated, teased and bullied by all others .... this movie is from my childhood time ... once more bought tears to me ... lets see what future i have ..

Bhai kya hi farak padega isse . Aaj bhi movie ki tarah kai bachhe suffur kar rahein hain aur sirf parent pressure to nahi hota na , peer pressure , society pressure etc .

Teaching was never an option for me, but this movie changed that. I'm currently studying psychology and now I'm considering to teach children instead of having my own clinic or maybe I can do both. After all, I consider childhood a critical part of one's life.

I remember how this movie used to haunt me as a kid ,i was so scared of hostel life n leaving my parents . But watching it now made me realise what a masterpiece this really is,not just a movie ,this is a complete emotion ride ,salute to the makers

I remember at the age of 8 when I saw this movie, it moved me so much that I actually went a hugged my parents, uncle-aunt and grandma for being an immensely supportive family. The Maa song still strikes a raw nerve among us who have seen this movie in the childhood. Later when I came to know that this movie didn't make it to the top 5 of the Oscars, i felt that Oscars has lost Taare Zameen par and not vice versa.

This movie REALLY highlights the meaning of the word "Educator." It's not just about teaching, it's about connecting and allowing children to develop their individual talent. Very deep and meaningful movie and what incredible actors! ❤❤
