About 10 years ago, this old woman struggled with her suitcase up a flight of stairs and I carried it for her and she hugged me. She thought it was odd that I helped her. And I thought it was odd that no one else did. Culture Shock.

I was in China once and literally this happened. I tried to help but she wouldn't let me as we walked in the same direction. I insisted and grab the bag, but she still said no and I the bag accidentally ripped. Ended up making more of a mess than helping :(

i did this when i lived in asia. no prob. theyre all thankful. but when i do this in europe, some would let me help them and some would look at me as if i was gonna rob them and would say no thanks. loool. i guess theyre scared of me coz of the way i look. im covered with ink and piercings. hahaha.

First of all, I hope you guys stop asking who is TreeMan. All these years, have you seen Charlie? No, right? Charlie sends his angels to save the world.. TreeMan send his friends to look for angels. I was fortunate enough to work in China for three years. Believe me, most of the Chinese are kind, polite, helpful and compassionate. The kids there address strangers as uncle, aunt, brother, sister and this is a norm. There were scenes where people did not help the actor / actress who tripped. Understandable, Covid-19 is still here. I came across TreeMan's social experiment videos by chance yesterday and his are the only videos I watch since. I hope my firm sends me to China again.

The young boy with black shirt is 100% good and so with the others passerbys they help her carry the sock. Not like the others they just help her put the sack at the back of her body.

School and home always told us to help elders so when i was about 8 years old i saw an old lady and tried to help her and she screamed at my face saying she doesn’t need help. So I think I’m traumatized so I can’t give my hand all the time now.

They are all very helpful..
