I can see the Angel and Devil on each shoulder now. Angel is reminding me that Jason is my friend and encouraging me to face my frustration and make the call. Devil, on the other hand, is suggesting that since Jason was dumb enough to choke in the first place, maybe he should be left to die so I can go back to my room and hide in peace.

I believe there have been incidents of people being sued for saving someone's life as a result of breaking a rib in the process, probably covered by a news article somewhere. It's stupid, but I guess it could result from not having health insurance and they get a 5 figure bill for treatment, and they can't see still being alive as worth that much.

When I call someone, I literally have a piece of paper with everything I want to say. I obviously mark some words that makes me look good, plan the order of the stuff I'll say and rehearse everything many times. Before calling, I obviously have a panic attack, throw my phone at the end of my room, question my life and the worth of that phone call and I finally call. Obviously, before calling, I check if it's right number around 10 times (you wouldn't want to call the wrong person - I don't have a conversation plan for that). Yeah, that's basically what happens when I'm in a social mood. :)

Don’t worry, my friends dad is a dispatcher, and he’s gotten calls for helping to find a LAYS chip bag at least thrice. He does have some real emergencies though, but sometimes it’s as silly as trying to find a Barbie doll. But often they are patient, so don’t worry!

I emailed the ambulance driver last year and decided to continue suffocating after choosing not to call the ambulance. I lay prone instead and made the correct decision as it turned out.

This is so accurate! Yesterday I nearly had a panic attack thinking I had to call the restaurant to place a take-out order. Couldn't do it... Told my husband that if he didn't call the restaurant himself, we wouldn't have dinner!

I think I became even more introverted than before, I'm so long in quarantine now, stuck at home, that when I go out sometimes, I don't even know how to socialize anymore When I'm leaving home, it feels like that it's a totally different world out there Like I'm opening the front door, get in my car and literally drive into another dimension
