I went to this bootsale every weekend last season without fail... but this season they've changed the entry rules. if you're not their 2 hours before opening, you're getting nothing.

Ahh no way I was litterally at this one last weekend! Did my first cat boot video on it! Totally agree tho I showed up at 8am and it was already far too late. Apparently there were complaints online of buyers harassing people before they had even set up yet! Anyway, great video as always mate, hope I bump into you sometime when out and about!

Something that gets on my nerves too is car boot "opening times". Unless you're used to the setup of your chosen boot sale, the opening times can be waaaay off the ideal time to arrive. I'm glad you still managed to find some cool bits but it is demoralising when you think you're arriving on time, only to find dozens have already been there for a while. Mind you, when you find something fantastic that's been overlooked by everyone else, that does partially make up for it!

I'm surprised there was no footage of any carboot sellers with any computer games (usually there's one or two potentials for CEX vouchers). Unless it was completely leeched from the early birds 😮

This year is my first year of car boots for reselling and I have to get up at 4-4:30am which feels crazy but it does pay off

Agree mate. Poster says 7am but then Facebook groups are £1 for entry before (no start time). Sellers there for 6am but bet by then there's queues of buyers in the field waiting

Last year they tried to stop people going in early but all the traders were walking around buying so they've just given up and like you say charging for those who want to park early. It's the only way to get stuff but then again being early isn't a guarantee as stuff still gets snapped up somehow 😂
