Darren one of those sausage rolls looked black burnt, as regards the sausages pity you couldn't of asked for onion gravy to neutralise the over powering mustard heavy sausages. I gree with you that American style mustard much mellower. I like the brown French mustard. I nhindsight I wished you'd of reviewed the street food now starting with the Lebanonese one you passed first, you'll know more next time as you ask more questions after all you keep telling us you are a trained chef. Macmaster still keeps bellie making when he still asks for fish with skin on. Apart from that DJ a cool vlog once again.

Dj make sure when you hit France, go to the farmers markets, grab a baguette, a tranche of pate, only the French know how to make pate de campagne, pate en croute, check out the local region cheeses, nice bottle of red wine to share(if not on the road otherwise save for later). Oh so envious. Have a wonderful safe trip, ill be riding pillion with you. 🇿🇼 Ps better that those sausage rolls any day😂

Hello Darren,I'm sure I give you a few years(68yrs and counting)Pub grub was simple fare. Sausages,Shepherds Pie,sandwiches, And it a lunchtime filler.Any left overs ,well a snack for the night drinkers&staff.Your mixture of bit's looked interesting, I thought both sausage rolls had a lot of air space inside. And one was burnt,call in crispy to be kind. As for the honey,mustard bangers, just cook,serve with sauce on the side. And the mustard should always be Coleman's simple. And let's not go down the Plough person's platter 😂😂keep vloging mate,and stayvsafe

I work on Fleet St, had a pie in The Argyll before. Wasn’t the best. Best to stick to the market.

Given your philosophy regarding honesty and quality foods I really think you should have complained about that meal otherwise they’ll continue dishing up sub par grub to other punters. Looking forward to your jolly and hoping you can find local alternatives to chicken tikka masala, the full English, and fish, chips, mushy peas and curry sauce if you get my meaning 😉

Frogs legs in my opinion taste like chicken but when you try them you may think different.

For the French leg of the road trip, frogs legs, snails, seafood platter, lamb shank (soiris d'agneau) hot oysters covered in diced leek, cream and goat's cheese, sea snails (boulot) and mayonnaise,.a snacking croque monsieur or croque madame, French onion soup, cassoulet in the south, boeuf bourguignon on a cold day... that's you fixed😏

Lowering the tone again 😂 try the Aldi hog roast sausage rolls, 4 in a pack if I remember.. There only small but taste pretty nice.😉

The American mustard much milder and for hotdogs....the English mustard got more of a kick which suits my palate. You're very polite over the crispy sausage roll....it was flippin' cremated mate 🤣

That sausage roll was an absolute disgrace. Who on earth cooks the pastry dry on a sausage roll 🤔 like that. 3 out of 10 that looked proper dry. Maybe they did that so you would buy more drinks at the bar like they do with nuts. I'm surprised you didn't send it back. Safe trip, boss, you hear me. 🙏
