I mean to be fair, Eriks entire plan with the warrior falls challenge only worked was because it relied on T'Challa being a good person with compassion and empathy. T'Challa was shaken up by learning what his Dad did, and NOT wanting to kill Erik. We see in that fight T'Challa had TWO chances to kill Erik but chose mercy. But come round two in the underground train scene T'Challa beats the brakes off Erik, ots not even a competition

The funniest part to me is that ever since Black Panther came out, Michael B. Jordan has constantly said that Killmonger could defeat Thanos in Infinity War. T'Challa defeats Killmonger by stabbing him in the chest with a dagger, Thanos incapacitated Tony Stark by stabbing him in the left lung with his own armor in Infinity War.
