What would happen if somebody would build a gearbox with the highest gear so tall it would spin tyres at the equivalent of around 400-500km/h and just send it down the track peeling tyres at that speed ? would they smoke more or would they just vaporise instantly ? :D

@Dimboost Only know of 2 cars with the on-board Fire Supression system but neither have really used them. The Burnout Pads are a confined space with Fire Marshalls close by, Drivers know to stop if they want the fire put out. If they don't it only damages the car and hurts their overall score.

Gawd that's an expensive sport, just for the sake of a few waves and acknowledgment from the crowd (who have no costs and nuthin to lose). Such super hard ON and OFF throttle will kill engine no matter how tuff and well built. Been there myself.🤣

What is a burnout? i asked google: Using the throttle to spin the wheels of a vehicle being held stationary, causing the spinning tires to produce smoke and burn rubber. THERE is nothing about CRASHING!!!
