The toilet and preserving salt would be really helpful for taming horses if you plan to. For fertiling carrots and keeping them from spoiling when you are running around looking for a tame. Also microraptors have a cool down I think.

That way to get the crystal was so big brain I’m mad I’ve never thought of that for getting up places 😂 I’m always too lazy to gather resources for scaffolding so I always rush to get a pteradon to lug me around

Don’t forget to feed your Dino’s. You should go looking for a Thyla as it will help you climb the mountains to look for crystal, obsidian, and metal

There is a cooldown time on beds after respawning before you can pick them up.

You may have heard by now, desert cloth is broken, fortitude is broken, nothing helps with the weather because Scorched is BROKEN!

Gets excited for a breeding pair of morelatops babies. Is extra careful to raise them in the wild before trying to get them home. Doesn't breed them. Gets the only male killed. Classic

28:30 It's a good trap but the doorframe snap points jump around so much it's hard to get it right under pressure. I use that trap for many things, even rex but i use a gate instead of 2 walls, you only need the gate frame for rex. The pathing has to show a path to you, you go invisible to smaller creatures when you pass through the doorframe and then the creature sees a dead end and goes around. You have to get the tame inside before going through a doorframe and snapping the gate frame or gate door but some creatures like rex can see you over the walls so you don't have to take a hit to get them inside. For most tames i snap a gate door as it's just one part and the snap doesn't jump around so much.

You can't pick up the bed, but if you pick up the foundation under it, you get the foundation and the bed

As syntops died in attempting to tame the carno, I'd call it Synsbane XD, also i think "keeping my eye and ears peeled", and "keeping my eyes and ears open" are both sayings you just fumbled from combining them LUL

That is why you use ramps to get a creature into a trap.

The not being able to pick up the bed thing seems to happen from time to time for me, too. But you could have picked up the foundation and the bed would have gotten transferred to your inventory.

I did the exact thing last night (my base is on the little island in the middle of the water) needed that crystal! Way to work smarter not harder Evo!

Unless they’ve changed something since the first month the game was out, I just used dino gateways as traps. 4 gateways and 2 doors: place gateways with big enough gap between them for me but not the target, place 1 door, bait the creature in, quickly place the other door behind the creature, and run out between the gateways. Worked every time I tried it.

Carno was my first life saver tame on my first island play through totally underrated tame

Superheat lasts so long because it’s the only time you can tame a phoenix 🐦‍🔥 That being said, I have died more to the cold than to heat on this map. Weird! The weather is absolutely brutal on Scorched Earth 😅

Wildcard changed the beds so they could no longer be picked up while on cooldown to prevent pvp respawning being so fast

I transferred from the island server, full ghili 90+ lvl character as still died from the weather. There are definitely "hot pockets"

Oooof you should have picked up the foundation and it probably would have picked up the bed. I think it may be something they changed in the game settings because I can’t even pick beds up on my single player game.

As a parent it is just selective hearing lol

ASA weather is hardcore vs ASE. I think that's the one thing the community can agree on wholeheartedly. I feel really bad for the guys on official.

If you puck up foundation it will pick bed up with it

I believe you can't pick up beds while there is a respawn timer on it now. I could be wrong, though.

always use the head butt attk with carno cause it has better angle for headshots and also does bleed...for name: 'Blue horns'..i'm not very creative

The whip is also good for pearls

I know from first hand experience how annoying it can be to tame carnos. A few days ago I lost my high level argy attempting to trap one, but man are they stubborn lol

You should make the whole taming pen /trap then have stairs to get dino stuck 🤔

I was getting my butt kicked by the weather in the beginning of my playthrough, but 700 heat resist later and I'm fine for the most part.

The bed thing was a WC patch. You can pick them up until someone spawns at it. I was able to pick it up with the foundation though so that’s a workaround.

Dunno if you’re having trouble with pearls but if so go over to red ob there’s pearls for days laying around the altar and around the water aswell

The weather is a lot worse on asa and fortitude doesn't do much if anything to help. the desert cloth doesn't really help unless it it around mastercraft level. I have died more to the weather than anything else.
