For the man, it's about how he was able to fit into his particular role in the show (so it's career focused, just like asking about method acting or stunts or their journey as an actor), whereas for the woman, it's about how she's able to fit a particular beauty standard and therefore fit into a skin-tight costume (so it's not at all career focused, it's JUST about her body.) If you still disagree, let's talk about how actresses are expected to maintain that standard of beauty and thinness even when they're not performing a specific role, or else they'll have "let themselves go" but actors aren't expected to keep all of the muscle that they gained for a specific role. So again, not the same. Even if someone is genuinely curious how Scarlett Johannsen or Anne Hathaway maintained a certain size to fit into their costume, it's a shallow question that has sexist undertones and perpetuates the idea that women have to be thin and beautiful to have worth (which, hello, helps lead to eating disorders), so interviewers need to stop asking it.
