Your absolutely correct the Pacquiao fight was before the Cotto rematched. Pacquiao broke Margarito's orbital bone which made it easier for Cotto to beat him by targeting the injury.

The Margarito fight was in 2009. The fight Mosley was using the cream and the clear was the 2003 rematch with De La Hoya. There's a 6 year difference. Also Mosley never tested positive. He was implicated after the FBI raid on Balco. Conte said Shane was a client. I believe it. But it had nothing to do with the Margarito fight

They used plaster of paris. A sort of paste that is soft and can't be felt, but hardens when it gets wet. During the fight the plaster gets hard because of the sweat in the gloves. So it doesn't feel hard when the official checks the handwrapping.
