When Cocky Fighters Got Destroyed and Humbled by Mike Tyson
As the saying goes, “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face.” Mike Tyson is considered one of the most dangerous boxers of all time during his prime. The former undisputed world heavyweight champion dominated the ring for several years.
However, despite his fearsome reputation, some of his opponents didn’t consider him a threat before they got into the ring with him. Unfortunately, most of them learned the hard way and got destroyed by Mike Tyson.
In this video, we’ve compiled some of the best moments in Mike Tyson’s career when his cocky opponents got destroyed and humbled by the great “Iron Mike”.

And no by this I’m not saying I have it at all, I’m fact I actually don’t, I do anything to avoid having to fight tbh, but if it’s unavoidable, or someone insults my family to a dispicable level then I’ll stand, I’ve had some serious attacks on me as well, I’ve time a lad walk over to me and smashed a 2 liter glass wine bottle across the side off my head and face, but I’ve still never been knocked out and I’m 40 now. Tyson was built like a fire hydrant but you can see majority of his opponents were bigger, heavier, taller and longer reach but with his quickness and power from both sides he just took it to everybody, you can see it in his eyes, even when he misses that he is constantly tracking for his next ko punch like he had internal radar, regardless of what was coming at him, he was always tracking, his eyes were always locked on target and you see his body follow through at will... so fortunate we got to experience this monster in his prime.

I was blessed to be a young man during this unreal era of sports that gave us so many of the "best" legends in sports: Mike Tyson, the subject here, unbelievably good and probably the best ever. NBA: Michael Jordan is the GOAT but we had Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, and the rest of the "Dream Team." Football legends like Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, Joe Montana, John Elway, Steve Largent, Jerry Rice, etc. Hockey gave us Gretzky and the rest. Point is the 80s-90s was undeniably the most exciting and best era of sports. Tyson was so darn good and fun to watch dominate...

I'd have to disagree. These weren't just guys off the street, they were seasoned winners in their own right and had great records. They just underestimated how brutal and truly angry Mike was based on his upbringing and unresolved mental health issues. Explosive anger like he had csn be deadly. It's like he had tunnel vision. He was relentless bulldozer. He wave off hits to him like nothing because his adrenaline was so high , you couldn't stop a freight train like him.

I noticed in every fight Mike of course was lighting fast, and in a millisecond when the opponent made the mistake of leaving his face open....BAM and also he was so effective, and fast that he could with one glove move their glove away, and.....BAM. Craziest speed I ever seen then add to that the power his punch packed.

@@AnDre-yu4po I definitely think you're correct. They only took a few hard punches... It's the repetitiveness of boxing that gives them brain damage, because the padded gloves mean they end up taking more hits instead of being knocked out sooner. That's why there's less brain damage in UFC than boxing. So him hitting harder was honestly probably better for them than taking 20-30 hits to the head in a match.
