If I'm not mistaken,Becks trained with the Arsenal team multiple times during the late 2000s when he was in London...Wenger always welcomed back former players or even in Becks case rival players to train and use the Arsenal facilities if they needed to....Arsenal has always been class

that’s one of the many reasons Wenger is loved by all, rival fans included but cheers to Arsenal as a Spurs fan and overall a football fan moments like these are what makes this game so beautiful and the best in the world.

He went to my school where we are from there was only two choices Arsenal or Tottenham. The glory hunters were not taken seriously. The glory hunters supported the strongest teams from every country like there a part of there area or community. Self esteem issues to make themselves feel better.

His maternal grandfather was a Spurs supporter while his dad supported United. Beckham went to matches at White Hart Lane but was a United supporter first and foremost. He also started his career at Tottenham … the man has a whole autobiography mentioning this

@@BarkingLondon probably there's any exclusivity clause in the contract. That they will pay him 10 million a year, 30 million a year etc so long as he only wears sports branding with their logo. If he wears anyone else's branding in public then he's probably a breach of contract and they can sue him, etc. It's like when you see those racing car drivers drinking from cans of red ball, or monster, or whatever terrible unhealthy for your heart drink they are sponsored by.

i have a conspiracy theory that he was an arsenal fan growing up not a united fan and it was all made up because he was going to play for united. evidence: training with arsenal in 2008 and also in the early 10s - why not at united? his kids all played at arsenals youth academy - again why not united? his kids are arsenal fans - just because you play for a youth team doesn't mean you have to support them why didn't David push them more towards united, kids are more likely to support the team their family does than any other team why dont ANY of becks kids support united?

His family come from Arsenal and Tottenham supporters. He went to my school. He use to practice free kicks after school against a painted goal wall in the playground 30 mins a day. Utd came with the money. At the time they had great financial leverage over other clubs in the prem and higher wages than most. Before Chelsea came with the oil money and oil wages.
