(I wrote this as a response to a clip in the video for those who feel like they might need it.) 1, look at the sugar content in the food you eat, if it's high, stop eating it. you feel energetic right off the bat, but you burn through that sugar in minutes and you feel deflated and hungry again. 2, stop using food to cheer yourself up when you are angry, scared, sad or for other reasons beyond your meals. over eating is an addiction, so it will be hard, you can however pull through! 3, don't watch your weight every day for a change in those numbers, focus on turning your diet around and to avoid temptation. want something sweet? eat fruit. want something savoury? eat something healthier than a burger. 4, after managing to cut the sugar, keeping snacking to a minimum, and establishing healthy eating habits, set yourself a goal. these goals must be EASY to obtain. if you constantly went up in weight, set your goal to "I will keep this weight for half a year without gaining a single kilo/pound, and if you manage to do that already, tell yourself that in a year, you will loose at the minimum a kilo/pound, and see anything above that as a bonus! 5, make yourself a list of activities you can do to start your exercising. if you are very obese, start with simple walks. find out how far you personally can walk, your limit should be where you feel uncomfortable from walking, but not feel like you are ruining your body. you need to push yourself a tiny amount, if you want to sit down after ten minutes, tell yourself "I will sit down at the NEXT bench, not the first one I see." remember to drink enough water while exercising, get comfortable with how far you walk before walking further the next time you expand on the difficulty of your exercises. once you feel like you can do it, jog a tiny bit. it can be between two signs, it can be for a minute, two, five. just listen to your body, drink enough water, get enough protein and shy away from sugar. Eating less food isn't going to make you not fat, you need to balance the food such as home cooked food and traditionally healthy foods. Remember fast foods like hamburgers and french fries are not actually unhealthy its how much and what you add to them. Stay away from too many chemicals but still eat some of those chemicals as well as eat a good amount of butter but not too much.
