I was lucky enough to encounter the legendary Brendan Kavanagh - Dr K at this public piano. The mood was set and he danced with the crowd before joining me for a high paced rendition of The Sheik of Araby.

what I grew up with was not so fast, my brother taught me boogie woogie when I was 6 years old and when I became 21 I went to Slim Jenkins in Jack London Square and hardly listen to boogie woogie played so fast as I hear now.
