Later, Lost climbed a tree, clamped down with his powerful jaws and then the fungus which had taken over his brain sprouted from his corpse and set its spores aloft on the wind.

That first one is a pretty outstanding example of why Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel is one of my favorite invasion spots.

In Dark Souls 3, my favorite way to remain hidden either during invasion or otherwise, was to put a bone wheel on my back, or the door shield, or just a great shield, then use one of the "sit" gestures while facing towards a wall or corner. The right mixture of item and gesture made it look like a shelf or wheel was leaned up against the wall. Sneaky invasion/ assassination invasion has always been my favorite.

That first invasion was absolutely spectacular. The disguise, the surprise, the standoff, helper guy and then even the host dies!

That not only looks super creepy but also cool as hell, wished there was a faction in the game more akin to just, creepy fungi men that isn't necessarily rot, more like a regen-based faction.

If you rely on the stealth tactic and stick with the coil shield, I'd call it snake in the brush, or hidden viper, or something along that line. Just using the mushrooms to blend in though regardless of weapon I'd just go with the hide and seek build.

To be fair, if no one looks closely, you blend in as a shroom mass. When people are invaded, it's like a prey looking for a predator. They're looking for movement, and then they react accordingly. If you watched the first Tarzan movie - recall the leopard, Sabor, that he fought and killed. Sabor was blending into the jungle, and where Terk and and Tantor hadn't noticed a thing, Tarzan noticed that something was quite right. He had a better attention for detail, which meant that even if he hadn't noticed Sabor, he felt that something was off. Part of his attention span was being a human in a jungle - Tarzan is borderline superhuman. He had to adapt like crazy, and constantly be aware. He doesn't have the same raw strength as adult gorillas. Yeah, he does some damn insane strength training to be able to grow grew up wrestle gorillas for fun, but he's still only a human. Even tapping into beyond the peak of human physique, he can't hold a candle to the other jungle residents with just physical attributes - so he had to get perceptive and alert, too, especially since most dangerous predators are stealth predators. Most hosts and summons are on alert, and may be perceptive. But they also aren't likely to think of looking for an ambush when they generally expect the invader to be glowing a red brighter than Rudolph's nose. This is why stealth invasions work so well, or why stealth hosts can work so well. It takes a bit of a different mindset to be checking for people hiding instead of people attacking.

I did this in Ringed City Streets and Ariandel Chapel a while ago. Some like 20 minute invasions paid off with thirty seconds of glory. Kinda like gettin' jiggy with it, now that I put that in perspective.

Everyone builds to avoid bleed because its used so much. Youre usually better off just ripping and tearing through your enemies with other statuses and direct dps these days. Also, great vid overall, loved the stealth gameplay
