Well everything she said was (to some degree) true. Up until she made threats to the officer she could have sued the Sherriff's office. Certain crimes, no matter how many reoffenses, shouldn’t be jailed for life. A case can be made for violent crimes but the jail system in America is so inhumane that that needs to be heavily considered when we say things like “why are these guys being released over and over.” We make movies and stand up comedy laughing at the sexual assault. We are so fast to disregard criminals as animals that it’s no surprise that they feel like they have to react like animals.
@edwinshmedwin7 ай бұрын
more like you don't understand the system. a lot of these people get let go because they let these stores build cases on them. they're repeat offenders and it's better if they actually let them get away a few times until they rack up a large dollar amount. Then when they get caught inevitably the consequences actually make them think twice next time. petty theft isn't a serious crime and loss/theft is figured into all corporations budgets to the point where it doesn't even matter if people steal.

I know this personally as some papers I had were lost by the airports. 100% not my fault, but I had to get chewed out over it and wait for a long time in offices just to get new copies.

Well you get in trouble because you never leave important paperwork in car especially if it's confidential or above. If it was something like his orders because of change of station then they have copies. But he would probably get into trouble because you are suppose to be more responsible then that. Also his hair looks a little long for active duty so it might be more his DD214 or something like that. But in today world you can easily get copies of that. The issue is you do not want someones else to have that DD214 because of the personal information like your SS number and birth date is on it and be use for identity theft. But if you have something from work that is confidential or above you never ever leave it alone in car. I used to be in charge of the testing in the MEPS station and we had an account for every answer sheets and every test book whether they were used or not since they were listed as confidential information. Every time we took one test booklet out, we had to count every of the 400 test booklet we had in locked filing cabinets that were in a lock office closet which was in my office that was locked when I went home. You do not leave that stuff around. Meanwhile my copies of my paperwork like my DD214 is locked in a safety deposit box.

To be honest, something similar to the second story happened to me when I tried to purchase something. I rang things up, went through the checkout procedure, swiped my card, thought everything was done noticing that the self-checkout kicked out a receipt and I just grabbed it and went home. When I got home I looked at the receipt and the receipt was just a card denied receipt. I took my shit all the way back to the store, explained what happened, and rang everything up and paid for it making sure everything went through the second time. Stuff does happen sometimes.
@nanasmom19876 ай бұрын
Something has happened to me very recent. I paid for my items (I thought) and when I got to the front and they asked to see the receipt I proudly gave it to him (it was a young guy maybe 20 ) he laughed in my face and handled it back. It was a blank receipt. We all got a good laugh. I was able to show that I did in fact pay for the items the printer just ran out of ink but even when they put new paper in there it didn't print the receipt as if the transaction never happened. So yes this absolutely can happen - sometimes not all the times lol

People forever forgetting to open their cards. That's the worst when they swear they have money on a card and make you run it over and over and the whole time they forgot to turn on their card. Then people who pay at the pump with a card and don't understand holds and don't understand you hang up the pump it refunds the money maybe within ten minutes, may take hours. Then you have to pay again...money is just easier to pay for your sruff...and I can tell wr are heading toward a cashless society, that's a mess waiting to happen. That was good you did go back and pay. The big stores may not miss the money but the little stores will will feel the lose when they have an audit..

Let me get this straight, this loud mouthed woman comes marching up to her brother's property because she sees police looking at his trash (which he keeps out in the open, not in a gated area meaning anybody can search it), she decides to incriminate her brother by confirming to the officers that it's his house and his trash can, becomes aggressive with the police, then is surprised when she's detained for being aggressive? Then she tells her brother to shut up and say nothing else? There's clearly a whole lot of something between these two, and it's definitely not braincells or intelligence.

Man I caught someone trying to steal a catalytic converter from my neighbors car in my apt complex last summer. I’m a gamer so I’m always up late, thank god my sister threw away some nasty old food cuz I noticed a foul odor from the trash can so I went to throw it in the dumpster in between cod matches lol. It was probably 2 in the morning and I noticed a running car near the mailboxes that ive never seen before. Then noticed a guy underneath a car with tools making hella noise lol right next to the dumpster. I knew who owned that car and he wakes up at 5am everyday for work so I knew right away that wasn’t him. I yelled at him to get the hell away from the car and he tried to say “what are you talking about I’m working on my car this is my car.” Lmfao I’m like who works on their car at 2am unless your a crackhead but nice try bud this is my brothers car I’m going to wake him up right now and call the police. (I lied to make him feel even dumber about the situation lol) all of sudden his buddy’s in the get away car just pull off hella fast and LEAVE him behind 😂😭😂😭 he tried to run away with a bunch of tools in hand his pants were falling down shit was hilarious. Thankfully he wasn’t able to get anything from that vehicle I caught him under but the next morning there was 2 other people on the other side of the apt complex that sadly got theirs stolen and a few cars got their car broken into with various items stolen including an expensive work laptop. Anyway I tried to follow the guy that got left behind but once he got to the main road he booked it dropped his tools and started hopping fences 😆 🤦♂️ I wonder if his “friends” just took off without him or double backed to pick him up lol 😆 I called the police they came by pretty quickly and said it was the 4th call tonight in the area about car break ins. I’m guessing it was them to but they didn’t even know about the other cars in our apt complex until the next morning sadly. So these guys were out there running wild just stealing from everyone. Really pissed me off. A few days later someone got caught by police with burglary tools, purses, wallets with different IDs and credit cards. We were hoping it was the same guy but with this shit running so rampant lately it was probably someone completely different. My apt complex re did all the lights in the complex, extremely bright now lol all the broken ones got fixed. They also hired a new security company cause the one we had before were slackers. One time had an issue with a tenant, they were getting evicted cause didn't pay rent, caused public disturbances, had police called on them 4 times in a 3 month time frame. She tried to start a fight with my gf one day and my gf went to walk away, tenant tries coming after her from behind. Gf turned in time to push the tenant down and then walked away. We called cops, as soon as they showed up that tenant was up there crying and blubbering to them bigger than shit. Cop came and asked us, we talked to him polity and calmly answered everything and there was no issue. Tenant was told to stay away from us till her eviction was up.

I sold Kirby vacuums for a few months and my team lead acted like her. We were in this town that I guess has no soliciting laws and the cops came out. She started acting like that woman in this video, which was dumb because we smoked weed in there. I like to be honest enough where the cop thinks I'm cooperating but I'm not giving them anything incriminating. One of my friends ran when he seen the cops and I offered to call him to get him to come back. I didn't tell them that I texted him before not to answer. The cops appreciated me "cooperating" and just threw away the bit of weed I had while they wrote tickets for everyone else. Ofc that woman was beyond livid the cops had the audacity to search the car. If she would've been calm and respectful, they'd probably just have us leave. This won't work for more serious charges but petty crimes it's best to be upfront if they catch you. People bs the cops so much when someone is straight up with them, they try to look out for you.
