I believe it would have been enough to put her in cuffs and physically take her out the restaurant and then let her go and leave on her merry way. She isn’t a violent criminal and this was over a simple argument with the restaurant staff. Just a bunch of extra unnecessary nonsense to put her under arrest and deal with everything that comes with that when it could have been all avoided and everyone learned their lesson. She also merely bumped the officer. She did push or punch or kick him

My dad has a higher position than a cop, but you'll never see me trying to get out of a ticket or an arrest by dropping his name. I will say that cops have given me breaks on minor stuff after seeing my last name though.

Exactly what I was thinking. Filming is one thing. But the cops weren't doing anything but their job in this case and questioning them about lawfully arresting someone is not their business. The public may record but not impede the police. That all changes when they use unreasonable measures of force but it is clear to the police and the witnesses that she is resisting and claiming the police are hurting her hands in an attempt to make them look like bullies. Entitled behavior.

I think police should always act in a respectful manner, even when arresting someone, but you know that they treated her with kid gloves because of the type of person she is.
