When Everything Goes Wrong, and you don't know what to do, just do.
That is the conclusion Lieles got to. It has been really rough for us this summer.
It has been hard to enjoy the moment and practice mindfulness. Our mental health and well-being have been affected, so much we have not been able to work, be productive or even enjoy the beautiful life we have.
It is hard to go on when everything goes wrong. But, the first thing Lieles needed to do is release his bad thoughts and share his upsetness and frustration, so he can let go and start a new phase.

Türkçe yazacağım için üzgünüm ingilizce bilmeme rağmen duygularımı bu şekilde daha iyi açıklayabilirim. Çeviri işini youtube benim için ya da senin için muhtemelen yapacaktır. Bir çok saçma insanın yaptığı kurgu işlerinden daha iyi bir video olduğu kesin. Aksiliklerin hayatta üst üste gelmesinin tek sebebi senin zayıf noktalarını aramak istemesidir. O yüzden yapmayı sevdiğin şeyi yapmaktan vazgeçtiğinde kendin olmayacaksın. Mutlu olduğun hayatı yaşamayı tercih etmelisin. Hey lovely couple - sorry you have been having such a time - there is no doubt that life sometimes goes the wrong way, but with all the problems you have had you are handling it very well - If we loose a couple of hours work its bad can't imagine the frustration of loosing 4 videos and potentially the lap top. You will come out the other side and yes i think back to basics is the right way - just stop and reset. We love you and you know we are always here for you - sending much love from us xx

Thanks guys, moments like these are opportunities for us to learn and grow. Mamba mentality forever 🐍...as for Davinci. I'm enjoying it. It got me excited about editing again. It takes a little getting use too but it's great not having to jump from premiere to after effects to do things I like. I still have after effects cause there are just some things I enjoy doing there more.

Oh man, life does get in the way sometimes. Glad you found some joys of what you have done so far. I lost sound for 1/2 my NY trip and I was shaking. Couldn’t imagine 4 videos. But to be honest, out of all the videos you have created this was the most relatable, makes me want to root for you more, and the passion oozed out! Like the great 2Pac said, Keep Ya Head Up!

We totally get it! The longer you are on the road, the more you pile up footage and there is always a risk of losing footage and projects. We've been through a laptop death, a hard drive accidentally formated and the usual BS you can expect. It helps to take a break, catch a breath, create when you want to. We often find ourselves in the same situations: great ideas and in the end nothing is getting done... We try to see all this KZfaq thing as a side hobby, can't take it too seriously when the algorithm favors dumb and clickbait sh*t. And people/channels like us working hard on videos for many hours, don't get many eyes. Wishing you better days ahead! Looking forward to have that videochat and drink we talked about!

Laptops deaths when $$ is tight are the worst!!! Lieles laptop was not cheap at all...We shall see what happens! A million ideas flowing and then either no time to execute or getting caught up in something else, it is good to hear we are not the only crazy ones. Sometimes, we think we have ADHD with our YT channel hahaha. We totally hear you on the "lucky" ones but oh well, we will continue doing this for the reason why we started it, have memories, have fun, and learn something new constantly. VERY SORRY to hear about hearing all of these, I can't even imagine how frustrating it was for you. My heart really hurt while watching this. Health comes first and everything happens for a reason as they say, there must be a reason to all of these. Turkey is your new home and hope you feel better and heal when you are home. Also very happy that you call my home, home. We definitely understand the algorithm frustration, unfortunately its all about quantity over quality on YT.

Thank you guys!! Chris and Marianne are rock stars no doubt! In our case, we have just had a lot this summer and our van and the heat haven't helped to the overall. Then, the computer breaking was like the cherry on top and all the footage and videos ready was just very frustrating. We know we are not alone though and that's very appreciated. Thank you, guys and hope to finally meet you in person now that we are back in Türkiye! Can't wait to see your renovations!

Geçmiş Olsun. I know I saying this a little too late, but always make a back up of all your files on to an external Hard Drive (at least once a week).

The funny thing is, I always do that. I usually upload files straight to the hard drive but I had worries that the hard drive might get damaged cause one of us (Maria lol) isn't very gentle with them. So I thought I was being smart by keeping a few files on my laptop cause I'm very careful with it and then fate sent Nala 😂.

I know first hand what its like to loose data that you're actively working on, especially when you're at the verge of publishing. Right when I started my Travel Journey a year ago, I lost my external hard drive data of 10 years in the blink of an eye, it really is the worst feeling.We don't get to see the vision you had for us but not all is lost. Im glad you were about to get this out because we would not have known such a thing. I really hope your situations gets a little better once you return to turkey.

Hi there! We went from Dalyan, Turkey to Galicia Spain. So I bit more than from Serbia to Spain lol We spend 2 months and half doing the entire trip going to Spain and coming back to Turkiye.

Sorry to hear about your laptop and losing your footage. I know how upsetting that is! Is the hard drive recoverable at all? I don't think you mentioned how badly damaged your laptop is, but data recovery is very possible! Don't let the gods of YT and the algorithm get you down. I know that's easier said than done but sometimes you just need to take a step back, take a break, enjoy what you're doing again, get a change of scenery, focus on a different hobby or subject. We've all been there, and it's okay to have bad days and vent. Hope it's going better this week!

Thanks guys. We have the hard drive with us just in case. The thing now is that the computer isnt working as it used to, so Lieles cant even do more than masking, and you know how much he loves his effects and all. Anywho, we gotta take care of ourselves and take one day at a time. Thank you guys!

We were in Istanbul for a couple of days, then we went to Sile, then to Kastamonu, Ankara, and now we are in Afyon. We were heading towards the east of Turkey but something came up and we have to head back up to Serbia soon, but we will be back in no time. We will put updates on the community post. How are you? It is how we felt and an idea we considered. Lieles shares all the frustration and all the issues we went through during the summertime. We spent all our money and weren't able to generate anything as we lost all footage, and the computer, the van broke down a million times and we thought about leaving everything. We are still going through a rough patch but we decided to keep going, and got some help from family members to keep going. Not clickbait at all.
