@williethomas5116 It's hilarious, since they were horny as fuck and, on the whole, tended to be a LOT looser about certain things. You'd be shocked by what wealthy and contemporary French women (and eventually English women, since as went French culture, so went the world back then) were wearing; wonderfully scant and barely layered, diaphanous muslin and linen dresses that accentuated curves and with a front so open that it might even raise a few eyebrows today. It was a direct rejection of French aristocratic couture after the Revolution, and ushered in a pretty vibrant cultural dynamic of vivid colorings and self-expression. So many dramas and the like dress up the people in either Rococo or Baroque styles
