The friend is a t-girl who used to be a functioning man, who may or may not have impregnated (multiple times!) a biological woman who was also having sex with another man throughout their relationship. But if that's true, then why would the t-girl be saying "men are incapable of fidelity" when it was her former female partner who was unfaithful? Or maybe it's just a throwaway line. Man, life is so much more complicated than when I was their age.

Something similar to this happened to me with my ex wife! I had just been out that day buying her an engagement ring. We were planning to visit France for a couple weeks in a few months, so I was going to propose then. Later that day, she got back from work in a bad mood (I knew she was moody but only later did we both realize she was bipolar), and she was convinced I was hiding being mad at her and was going to break up with her. She kept badgering me to 'admit' that I was mad at her and saying something was different. It went on for several hours with her crying that I'm emotionally abusive to her, me telling her nothing was wrong, until later that night, she wouldn't let it go, and me feeling accused and disillusioned finally gave in, grabbed the ring case and showed her! She then cried more, gave me back the ring case, and told me to give it back to her at the right time. That marriage lasted almost 10years. We both loved each other, but love sometimes cannot overcome serious mental roadblocks!🤷🏿‍♂️

Same here, brother. It was thanksgiving and we were at her family's. I was in the front yard talking on the phone to the jeweler who was putting the engagement ring together for me and we were working out some details. My soon-to-be fiancé got it in her head (along with a couple bottles of wine) that I was talking to another girl and she came out and caused a HUGE scene in front of her family and quite a few neighbors. I finally had to admit what I was doing. Marriage lasted a little less than 10 years. No amount of love or effort can save a relationship like that forever.

Had me a very manipulative BI-polar one who had puppy eyes and tears every time I tried to end it (least of her relationship "crimes") , even tried strangling me (I have a very large neck but felt it as she was very muscular). Needless to say, I changed cars and told her I moved to another town and it is over... Got a call from her a few days later saying she is at the gate to make sure, lucky I wasn't outside!
