@@13_cmi if you want, just incorporate a hydrating daily cleanser (CeraVe is the perfect brand for a beginner, it's effective and cheap) and a moisturizer to apply right after cleansing (washing the face without moisturizing dries the skin) and that will already be plenty enough. If you want to slow down aging though, the best things you can do for your skin is also add a day broad spectrum sunscreen to wear all year long.

My fiancee is the same. 😂 He doesn't understand a word! I used to explain *moisturizer* to him daily when he would regularly complain about his chronically dry skin; he thought it was some marketing gimmick and that it was just the same as lotion. He finally let me put some on his face, and he is now a skincare convert. 😂 It was originally just moisturizer, but turns out he really enjoys skincare beyond moisturizer too. He slowly crept into having a full skincare routine after occasionally joining mine over the years until one day we were just sharing products lol, and I had to explain he needed different stuff for his skin type if he wanted to do it right (luckily ours are similar-ish in a pinch). He still has no clue what half of the products are, but he trusts whatever regimen or product I suggest these days lol. One does not have to understand it to enjoy it apparently, he just goes "Idk what I want dude, you know about skin types and stuff, just pick whatever you think I need!" 😂

@@petermetoxen2959 bc some people didn't realise that was what happened or weren't sure so they went to the comments to see if they were right without rewatching the video. Sometimes people look away and miss the key part and then don't want to rewatch the whole thing or it slides right over their head. It helped me a bit, just needed to confirm that I did indeed get the punchline despite my uncertainty. Just a bit slow today is all, I'm thankful for people that do this.

I used to read comments all the time n now I avoid them because it's exactly what I just witnessed so i wanna read peoples 2 cents not the videos 2 cents. Sorry if I'm extra.. When I got a blackhead remover my dad curiously asked what it was and when I explained he looked confused: he didn’t know what blackheads were. Then he tried to explain himself like “oh but I’m a man who doesn’t have that good of a grasp on feminine products” and while that is entirely true… I couldn’t stop myself from picking the box up, turning it around, and showing him the dude using the blackhead remover on the front. He got stumped. That never happens! Is was a pretty funny moment
