Try as I might, I could never get through episodes of Critical Role because I just couldn't stay invested In watching a game for that long. This episode was 53 min and some change and it ended with me wanting more!!! I have said it week in and week out, you have something awesome here. Great stuff AI Guy!!!

I hate CR. It has produced a bunch of players that sit around playing improv instead of DnD. There's RPing and then there is verbal masterbation to a captive audience. I prefer good RPing.

Man, I've rolled a nat 20 death save, and lemme tell you, it's an incredible feeling. I was gonna be dead-dead. I was being dragged back to a yeti lair with no help anywhere nearby and I managed to escape by the hair of my neck. No better nat 20 than a death save.

The writing for this series is so freaking tight. You really capture a sense of imminent doom & triumphant defiance. The only other AI series that comes close is Krucial.

Tronald helping Lunaria in the heat of battle using the hags ability to do magic was great.Mite Bite'Ya with the counter spells was key and Alexandrew Bate risking his life to save Tronald was something else,truly some heroic stuff...fantastic session!

Wow, that map with fluid water AND rotating lights! The production value is ever increasing, bravo! Tactics part: * I am not sure I would have fled like Tronald before casting another FB on the group - having downed some minotaurs might have helped the bone devil stay with him a bit longer; * Alexandrew only does peanuts of damage and I suspect will eventually try to punch-stun all the goblins and monks he will see for the rest of his life; * Rattlebone had a boatload of hps, but very poor defences and resistances for her level; * Saxy's guns are not to be underestimated - he did some damage not too far from not-raged&cheesed Raarh!.

The art work you put into this I feel in someway reflects what is happening in reality. But I might be reading to far into it.

Phew wow...that was a nailbiter. This episode was a masterclass in tension and storytelling, seriously probably in the top 3 best episodes. The last 10 minutes had me GLUED to the screen. Tronald's with the suggestion gambit and portent tackle, Rawr & Saxy's emotions over Lunaria, Alexandrew's tower dash and sacrifice play...just goddamn riveting my dude. If I had any minor gripes it would be I think Mite had the tabaxi feature of Feline Agility to help him move closer and if you could zoom in on his and Alexandrew's tokens so that their faces were at the same zoom as the rest of the party my OCD would appreciate that lol. Also you/Joe are a good DM for letting Rawr use his Relentless Endurance after the fact.

Still behind, but this episode had great tactics and an epic battle. The escape of the Hag reminds me of a 1st ed game I played one time. My party encountered Lloth. I was a druid and invoked some divine intervention, giving me a weapon to destroy Lloth and the split second to attack her flawlessly... however the DM allowed an outsider to play Lloth at the time, and he didn't know what the full situation was...fair... and he teleported Lloth away... frustrating, fun, and memorable all at the same time. Good job btw👍👍

Great session, one thing that would make this better is adding maps for all scenes especially for exploring. It is more immersive that way. Seeing the tokens move on the map would be great!

You’d need Mage Slayer in order to attack a teleporting foe. That’s a feat that makes spellcasters even more squishy.

The most frustrating part is knowing they have potions they took from the monks temple and bought from charismatic asmo that I believe they haven’t used yet. I suppose that makes sense considering Ming how easy it is to forget that you have those potions in an actual campaign.

Epic!!! I absolutely love the battlemap episodes!! The tactical perspective adds to the tension and cunningness of the encounters! ... Rolling a 20 on a Death Save is also Epic during combat! Glorious!! I was so overcome with joy, I almost paused the video and screamed! Brilliant addition!! ... Tronald's Suggestion does not give the opponent an extra Action during Tronald's turn, but states that the hag's next turn's Action will be what he demanded. That aside, having the minotaurs jump off the tower was freaking awesome!!! The level of tension to the combat skyrocketed!! Epic!! Epic!! Epic!! I am so happy right now. Thank you, thank you, thank you! More battlemap episodes, please!! Other AI channels ignore the tactical maps.
