Human nature to some degree. I remember 10 years ago there were Chelsea fans EVERYWHERE in the USA....gone. Every sport, every league. Golf viewership down since Tiger off his peak - were they all plastic fans too? NBA nowhere near its peak when MJ was playing, now what? Recent city fans will only leave if the product declines drastically.

If they do they were never real supporters to begin with.

That's one hell of an assumption aswell. A fans love for a club starts one place and often don't end just because of hardship and tough times. Every single big club in history have had times where they gained fans because of glory. You're crying here mate and your agenda is quite obvious.

What team are you managing right now in PL? If none, then respect Pep way of playing and system used because he has won so much with that.

Explain to me how our obscenely high line isn’t a problem at all; that it doesn’t force defensive errors by our guys; that it doesn’t give every team we play solid counter attacking chances to score goals (more so than any other year under Pep; explain to me how that high line isn’t the reason we’ve conceded more goals this season with 6 games to go and in the entirety of each the past 3 seasons; explain to me how I’m wrong thst we rank as one of the worst defenses in the PL against the counter attack etc. Explain to me how all of the above has nothing to do with Pep’s absurdly high line (higher than in any previous season). If you can’t, then perhaps you ought to stfu and think long and hard about what I’ve said and maybe you’ll see that there is a major problem with Pep this season. That he’s reverted back to type and instead of adapting his tactics like he did last season which got him the treble, his refusal to do so has gotten us to where we are currently - getting into the FA final on a terrible VAR call and hanging on for dear life in the PL race. If he continues to play his stupid high line, he only increases the probability that we win nothing. Look no further than the Real game. Playing that high line against arguably the best counter attacking team in the world was ridiculous. 3:4 goals came from counter attacks down our flanks (mostly the right) bc the wingback (we don’t have proper ones and this is the issue) got overrun and scored on. The team from last season, where we played more of a flat back 4 at Real, would never have allowed those goals in bc we never would’ve been so high up the pitch. Again, Walker too far up and we got scored on at the Etihad and how many times has that happened this season? Far too many for me to count. Why? Pep’s inability to adapt his high line along with his obsession using it. If you don’t think any of that has been a problem, then perhaps you should just go back to sitting in the corner with your coloring book. Love Pep but he’s not infallible and if you think he is, well then you’ve clearly lost the plot

@@Efootball24gamer Nah. Not mad. Just frustrated. Pep was flexible in his tactics last season and look how richly rewarded he was for it: treble. This season, he has done the complete opposite, especially regarding his high line and no one is questioning him about in the face of overwhelming evidence that it is a poor tradeoff. Love Pep but he is not infallible and I strongly believe that if he keeps playing this way, City will NOT win their remaining games and depending on which MU show up to the FA cup final, may not win that either. When you play a system you clearly don't have the players to execute effectively and efficiently, yet continue to do so thinking the outcome will be different, that is the very definition of insanity Remember, the difference btwn genius and insanity can only be measured by success. Pep has been a genius on the merits more often than not, but he has also made some colossal errors that were borderline insane (CL final with no CDM for example and I think if keeps up with the high line and City lose it all bc of it, that would be insane too)
