ENGLISH TRANSLATION Hello, my name is Teresa and I'm 35 years old. All my life I've lived in this city. But some times I like remembering how I spent the summers when I was a child. When small, I went to my grandparents' village with my sister. It was a very small town that was next to a big mountain. The houses and streets were made of stone. My grandparents' house was in the middle of a field. There was a river next to the village and every morning I went down to be there. I liked listening to the sound of water and watching the fish. I had fun throwing stones into the water. There were many. I remember that there was a very nice place in the river where we were swimming. Even though the water was very cold. I loved the animals and we were in the middle of nature there. Some days I fed my grandfather's goat. I spent the afternoons looking at the butterflies and lizards and playing with animals of the field. There was a forest next to the river. I remember a tree that seemed like an old man. Some times, when I was alone, I spoke to him and told him some secrets. It used to rain most days but it didn't matter to me. I played with my sister and we had lots of fun. Now, I think I like living in the city because it has a lot of amenities. But I was happy in that village.

Toda mi vida he vivido en esta ciudad, pero a veces me gusta recordar cómo pasaba los veranos cuando era pequeña. De pequeña iba con mi hermana al pueblo de mis abuelos: era un pueblo muy pequeño que estaba al lado de una gran montaña, las casas y las calles eran de piedra; la casa de mis abuelos estaba en medio del campo. Al lado del pueblo había un río y todas las mañanas bajaba para estar allí. Me gustaba escuchar el ruido del agua y ver los peces, me divertía tirando piedras al agua, había muchas. Recuerdo que en el río había un lugar muy bonito donde nos bañábamos, aunque el agua estaba muy fría. Me encantaban los animales y allí estábamos en medio de la naturaleza. Algunos días daba de comer a las cabras de mi abuelo; pasaba las tardes mirando las mariposas, las lagartijas y jugando con los animales del campo. Al lado del río había un bosque, me acuerdo de un árbol que parecía un hombre viejo. A veces cuando estaba sola le hablaba y le contaba algunos secretos. Muchos días llovía, pero a mí no me importaba. Jugaba con mi hermana y nos lo pasábamos muy bien. Ahora pienso que me gusta vivir en la ciudad porque tiene muchas comodidades, pero en aquel pueblo yo era feliz.
