Greg is an long time aquarium hobbyist (over 20 years) and presiding president of one of the largest reef clubs in America-Southern California Marine Aquarium Society(SCMAS). He is also one of the founders and the voice of Reefapalooza. Greg is a very accomplished reef keeper who won tank of the month honors on Reef Central back in the days. He is a truly acro crazy, and his newest reef tank creation is a true testament to that.

Beautiful Reef. I love Chocolate Tangs they're so cool the way they go thru the transformation. I had 3 Purple,3 Yellows ,& 3 Chocolate tangs when I had my Reef Tank. It was so cool to watch them together. Heavy light and flow in his tank looks amazing. 💜🐟💜✌

Give it a try, it is a common ingredient to a lot of fish food. Also it’s really good to entice new additions to the tank to start feeding!

Beautiful tank brother! I too have a white tail like urs from Tahiti. Got it close to 2 yrs ago and its the only tang due to the tanks size. Great job!

@@gcarroll1969 I agree, very much a “hidden gem.” I’d love to see them branch into some other aquarium accessories. Roller mat, Kalk stirrer, calcium reactor, etc. the build quality is 👌🏻

@@TrevorHiller they actually make calcium reactors, algae filters, zeolite reactors and fluidized media reactors. Their fluidized media reactors are what inspired the design of the Nyos reactors where the chamber separates from the base.

i’ve been using restor for a year & my corals look healthy & happy. i do dose every other day of just 1ml in my 50gal as it does raise the nutrients fast. especially phosphates

Oh that famous GC Efflo, simply stunning. I've tried to keep it 3 times and it simply hates me sadly. But, what an incredible coral in his old tank. Granted the new tank certainly show his excellent husbandry.

Might I suggest a new video series? Go visit small brand new reefers tanks and offer guidance on what they may be doing right or wrong. Seeing perfect tanks that know exactly what they're doing is great but might offer more insight if us inexperienced reefers can see similar issues and hear from the pro's on what we could do better.

@@gcarroll1969 what I’m not doing, raising the temperature as per a video from Jake Adams but is not doing anything for the last four months , as of now I send water to be analyzed and seems to be that I have a bacteria and some type of Dino’s the recommendation was to stop dosing anything and to raise the nutrients so will see

I am dosing a little Brightwell Replenish in my ATO during this summer of no water changes. But normally I do not. Calcium reactor and water changes handle most trace elements IMO.
