Play the chess so you can put one knight on the board at a time, but you can't move anything moves to Knight. How many knights you need that the black king is in the mate. The black king moves and captures normally. White King is out to board.

you need to just open 1 lane on either side of the board to get a queen or rook behind the pawns. Everything else is losing.

Learn some openings If you are good at tactics play gambits like danish gambit ... Cause at the amateur level 1200s can't see a lot of tactics and they can't handle the pressure so if you pressure them a lot without blundering they will collapse and also be patient don't miss in between moves and in the same time play aggressively with tricks and tactics you should do well and you can reach the 1500s
