Just to clarify, this trip was before everything escalated here in the states. We were not travelling during lock down. My videos are usually not current time as I like to have a cushion for editing. Life was still normal with Orlando parks open and the normal hub bub of life. I chose to post this now, hoping it would cheer some of you that are stuck at home during this Quarantine just as we are. This was a beautiful video! You did a great job editing! Little Xander is the hardest working little feller ever. It’s a hard job moving all that sand. Oh that sister time looked like the best! When our kids were little my in-laws lived in Daytona and it was wonderful to take them there for a grandparent visit and the beach. But the thing I loved most was riding the big bikes with kid seats all over their pretty park. That brought back great memories! So sorry Xander got sick but as always you managed to make the best of everything and I loved your filming.

yes, it is here as well. This trip was taken before things got shutdown here as well... after our getaway, things went from 0-60 in just weeks. I hope you are well! I'm so ready for life to return back to normal!

I absolutely love these Amish communities. I am not Amish or Mennonite specifically, just a born-again believer. However, I do live in IN & we have a large Amish population in the northern part of our state (Shipshewana area). It's one of our favorite weekend get-aways, as well as Holmes County, in neighboring OH. I just think it's the neatest thing for so many like-minded believers to have such thriving communities like this! Looks like you had a great vaca! Hope you are all well & encouraged during these current difficulties.

My granddaughter and I did one of those trips, just before social distancing kicked in. We took a cruise! We had a great time, got home on March 2020. I had the flu within one week of getting home!

Wow, this video shows how much has changed in everyday life. Constantly I am aware of all the thing Xander is touching, touching food and laying it back. People playing volleyball together, crowding together and having fun. As it should be. Without masks. I just hope all that will be normal again. It was nice to look at the fun you had, thanks for letting us have a peek into your life. Must admit that it makes me feel slightly envious looking at your boy so outgoing and adventurous. Myself, I have 2 autistic introverts...well, we have had a whole lot of fun in our own way, they're teenagers now. Anyway, thanks for sharing

Children are so cute and happy. They are the most important good on this world, not important their family or origin. Quarantine on countryside is no problem, very much to do in house and garden.

Thanks for the filters at the beach. I always had such a hard time taking my kids to the beach. You want your kids to see the beautiful creation God made but "Not all of God's creation!"

yes, there were a few people there who's actions and dress I wasn't comfortable with. I had been hoping, beings it was 5 in the evening, we would be more alone... but I was disappointed. Yes, I don't like going to full beaches, and I know as Xander gets older, I will want to be even more careful. There are definitely emptier options.

Try south Lido if you come again ☺️ it’s usually less crowded. But also - this time of year its almost next to impossible to find a lot of empty spots. ‘Spring break’ hits hard ..😏

@staceymacdonald I agree with you to a certain point. But I also feel we need to be careful if we purposefully go to places that have excessive immodesty, especially if it's places that are simply for fun. In the video, I was blurring out a couple that was in a pretty heated make out session. uggg... yes, we will go swimming. Xander was sick with croup, and I didn't want him to get wet.

We have Family not to far from where y'all staying at. We like it down there. Wen we go we like to meet up and go to the them Park's down in Orlando. And then we go and visit our Family at there home🏡for a few days. Thank You For Sharing. Please Stay Safe Many Blessings To Y'all.

I’m so glad u made it to Sarasota before the “stay home m be safe n well “ happened. We do have a beautiful beach don’t we? Yes, I live in Sarasota n I’m not very far from Pine Craft less than 5 minutes. It looks like Zander had a wonderful time here n I’m Orlando. So glad u got to come n get away even if it was only 3 days ( they do go fast) Love the music I chose for the video. I really enjoyed watching Zander enjoying himself here. Next time I’ll have to have hubby come too.

Zander was so close and I didn't get to see him!!!! We live just a few miles south of Sarasota in Venice. I'm so glad you got to visit before things got crazy. Keep safe 🦈
