This part of the video always makes me laugh, its just the combination of me not remembering this scene, the guy getting straight up turned into red mist while casper calls him "random n**ga", the spiderman 3 music, how quickly it happens and the thought of lockdown just going out of his way to blast a random fucking guy during a fight because optimus kicked lockdown in the leg.

The reason they killed them off is so stupid as well. The vehicles that Ratchet and Ironhide transformed into were discontinued bt General Motors, so Bay decided to kill them off instead of having them transform into a different vehicle. Not sure why they killed off Jazz and the others though.

It's not at all confusing. Cemetery wind is the new team that is not affiliated with the team that was working with the Autobots because anybody that was at Chicago doesn't fucking know which side is which. Aside from maybe three people and Sam is confirmed dead, leaving two, of which one is disgraced and considered a conspiracy theorist, and had been since the first movie- and the third the military guy retired sometime between movie 3 and 4 and then came back for 5. Not that he would matter at all because cemetery wind is not military it is three letter agency operated. Lockdown got in touch with KSI and arrived after Chicago therefore making him the non-threat here. He promised them one that he would leave the planet after capturing Optimus, and leave the seed technology which would allow the company to produce transformium without having to go through the process of harvesting corpses they can just set it off in the middle of a desert somewhere and mine that shit which is arguably far more effective on your bottom line when you are basically constructing super weapons for the black budget industrial complex. Any transformer that was at the Chicago event is going to be shown in footage and seen by eyewitnesses as having been culpable or active in the destruction of the city and countless thousands of deaths. Ratchet included. The only transformers in this movie that are not directly responsible or at least culpable for thousands of human deaths are the knights and lockdown. Furthermore the team preceding this iteration of cemetery wind in the fourth movie had already been hunting down decepticons since the start of the second movie. Therefore even if they share personnel the way that any command structure works leaves the people on the ground unaware of any wrongdoing.

The enemy of this movie truly just is capitalism as applied to rampant black budget military industrial complex operations.

@@MGavin either way, you had two major international events with two factions fighting each other, kinda hard for the US govt to not report that the autobots were fighting on their side. Also Bay portrayed that the transformers were here for millions of years too, so it was only a matter of time of when an existential threat to humans was gonna occur, autobots fault or not. If I wrote that guys line, it would've been more on the lines that you guys got us involved in YOUR war, and the longer you autobots remain here, we will never be safe from any deceptions. I can excuse the CIA being in charge of it cause they are always up to shady shit, but they just needed to flesh out the reasoning why they started hunting them down, especially in the first 10-15 min.

And the Autobots pause more damage on their Landings due to them wanting to show off, the Decepticons have already been integrated into Human Society so don't cause as much damage.
