Dort did not "stop" Luka in game 1. Game 1 Luka missed shots and was slowed by himself. Luka's knees have taken his (already slow) drives down a substantial notch, so he really needs his mid range or long range shots to fall to be effective. That's what happened game 2. If that's happening, no one is really stopping Luka. You can only hold him (while healthy) to under 40 and call it a day -- don't let anyone else beat you that badly on the Mavs at the same time or you're most certainly cooked.

I once ordered a Dame and Giannis T-Shirt. Love the art, but after 2 washes it’s already cracked and coming off which is a shame. The ref'ing for this series has been so unpredictable. I generally like it when refs allow lee-way on physical contact. This usually leads to more fun games to watch as players take more risks with blocks, steals, and favor more paint points over 3's. However, game 2 and game 3, it is SO Obvious the Thunder and Dort are trying to purposefully hurt Luka. The Ref's aren't adjusting. There were at-least 3, maybe even 4 flagrant fouls missed in game 2/3. It was sickening watching the dirty play go unpunished. He fouled out game 3 and needs to be given more scrutiny for his dirty play. He is tripping, pulling, elbowing, and worst of all hitting a player with momentum from the back-side, which is one of the most common ways to injure someone in Basketball. I lost quite a bit of respect for the Thunder, Dort, and their coach. Dirty play can help you win, but eventually people will turn on you. No one enjoys seeing another player injured, regardless of the team. The things Dort was doing intentionally are incredibly dangerous. He is putting players at high risk for knee ligament tears and ankle injuries. As I said, I think lee-way with physicality makes for better NBA games. But, this is going way too far. If Dort keeps this up, I guarantee the players with a conscience are going to start doubting team chemistry and how hard they want to play for dirty players. As someone who spent most of my life playing team sports, especially basketball, this kind of inner toxicity with someone being dirty has huge draw-backs for a team's culture.
