Zo was one of my favorite players. He was a true center. He is #11 on the all time block shot list. He played at 6’10” not as tall of other centers and what was sad is when he got sick because of his kidney condition otherwise I think potentially he could’ve been top 5. He was a true defender of the paint! Loved me some Zo!

When MJ retired in 98, the NBA just wasn’t the same. I not even going to count Wizards Jordan. Even though you had Kobe in the league, he was Kobe Kobe until he got out of the shadows of Shaq. Iverson was great, but I would call him the face of the league at that time. It was about 5 years where the league was a bit lost and then Lebron came along.
