Actually, Ripley was always supposed to make the basket in Alien Resurrection. It’s just they originally figured they’d just film Sigourney Weaver throwing the ball over her shoulder first then cut to a shot of the ball going in the basket or cgi it or something. They never expected Sigourney Weaver to actually make the shot in one take. And they actually had to cut to another shot fairly quickly, because in the original shot, after the ball went in, Ron Perlman looked directly at the camera and said “Oh my god!” in excited disbelief.

That Jaws scene was a miniature cage, filmed with a 😢real shark. A little stunt person was suppose to be in it with the shark swimming around it. At the last minute the little guy chickened out and refused to get in. The best decision in his life!
@hairyairey11 күн бұрын
I read that they had given him a half-size tank as well (the idea to make the shark appear bigger than it really was) not realising that it was going to run out much faster. Hence they escaped to get air!
@ChrisReise7 күн бұрын
Exactly. It's one of the FEW shots in the film where a REAL shark was used.

If I remember correctly, in American Graffity's first scene, when Todd arrives and fumbles with his scooter was also not planned, he just failed to stop, but kept acting, and the fail was fitting his character perfectly.

The real blooper in Deep Blue Sea was that Samuel L. Jackson's character was never meant to be eaten by the shark. Handlers forgot to feed the shark that day and it was just feeling peckish.

The Cabaret “mistake” was clearly re-shot, and the cake was moved up higher, so I’m not so sure it was a mistake.
@inisipisTV13 күн бұрын
The full shot with Micheal York handing the cake slipping from its plate to Liza was a mistake. They decided to use the blooper and intentionally shot the next close up shot of Liza Minnelli with the cake to keep up with continuity.

I’m sure all of these almost topless scenes that have nothing to do with the bloopers in question are essential to the making of this video, I’m just not sure how…

What did the Knights Tale director expect the Czechs to do??? Maybe he hoped they'd already seen the movie and knew when to cheer.
@inisipisTV13 күн бұрын
Most of the time the Director shoot a another shot of the crowd cheering. They would then edit it smoothly with after the scene of Chaucer’s speech. My guess the Director never intended the crowd to cheer during that shot, he would just make specific shot for that, but the improv of the British actors rilled up Extras to cheer with them makes the Director use that shot anyway.
@JohnDoe-tx8lq13 күн бұрын
There's no way they would have all just immediately cheered like that when they didn't realise they where suppose to. Most of these 'bloopers' are BS exaggerations.

I can't see how the water balloon hitting Carol in the face in _American Graffiti_ could have been an accident, since there are clearly two different angles of it cut together, and I doubt with George Lucas' small budget on the movie that the studio would have afforded him two cameras to shoot simultaneously.

Sorry if this isn't your first language, but the title is not English. You have to either say "when bloopers made the final cut" or "bloopers that made the final cut". You can't do both at once as it makes zero sense.
