A technical fault temporarily halted the BBC News at Ten, leaving presenter Huw Edwards sitting in silence in the studio.
Many people expressed alarm on social media when the "Breaking News" logo flashed up 11 times during the show.
BBC News at Six and Ten editor Paul Royall said a "technical systems crash" caused the four-minute delay.

In the full cut, he sat there for about 4-5 minutes and there was some extra footage after the news actually started. In a separate video, the description says: "I would guess that the actual fault was one that has happened previously whereby all the pre-set camera moves and automation of videos to play out was lost. I am guessing this is what happened as once the bulletin did start, the robotic cameras didn't do any of their usual fancy moves, where everything was most likely on manual.". So chances are the team in the background were probably panicking and had to fall back on doing everything manually.

No its states on the official TV Licensing website. You need a TV Licence if you watch a tv show live or pre-recorded and it doesn't matter what channel it's on or what source you're watching it on (via tv or online). Am against TV Licence and it does only benefit the BBC.

No, that's not quite accurate. You only have to pay a licence fee IF you watch TV online (or on a mobile phone or tablet). Ownership of a computer or TV does not automatically mean you must buy a licence.
