This is the reason why I love Bumblebee! Just like Optimus, he also killed off a ton of major antagonists like Soundwave, Shatter, and Dropkick. He did all of that by just being a creative dude. Like his shmooves did decepticons dirty. Starscream blasted his legs off, but Bumblebee still fighting and got a kill without his legs! He even stood up to fight against Megatron, Lockdown, and Scourge! He knows that he might lose his life those times, but he did say that he'll lay down his life for Optimus, which he did... once. It's just never a good movie without Bumblebee or Optimus. Overall, this dude ain't an ugly mf. Disagree? You're just jealous that you're leagues BELOW him.

To answer the Megatron shooting himself part, if you look at their battle in the forest you hear his canon charging up before shooting and sending Optimus flying. Any other shots he had with that cannon did minimum damage. He was probably charging a stronger shot to take him out and Optimus just turned it on him before it shot
