Yeah, I went through an emo phase too; 10 years ago (Was 15 back then). I like gothic and pastel now; I've always liked goth fashion and decor, but I definitely love pastels now as well and am really into lolita fashion, so my island is a weird fusion of both of those and some natural/rustic/cafe themes. lol We all have phases. It's weird that your mum thinks you're still into emo stuff, despite the fact you like pink now and have probably even told her that your tastes have changed. Mum's are supposed to know their children well. Lmao! Like, my mum knows I love cute things and plushies, but goth stuff too. She just goes along with it and tells me it looks nice. Well, let your mum see your island and be shook. xD I want to know what her reaction will be.

The Marina obsession lol! I get it tho- I love her too. Story time: I have a little café on the second story of my island, and it's lined with balloons. I'M SO HAPPY TO SEE AN ALL PINK ISLAND LOL Putting it in winter so all the flowers have white under them instead of green so it won't clash is so big brain, not to mention the flower field was so lovely 🥺 THE MARINA DRUM OH MY GOD 😭😭 The pink tatami is so unique and lovely 🥺 Making the changing rooms into photobooths too omg, everything about this island is so creative 😭😭 Also am I bugging or is this someone you reached out to on twitter like ages ago haha, if so that's so cool that you finally toured them !!
