Every criminals' logic ever: when I escape the current scene the police will never catch me again. They only have your name, your address and your license plate... So dumb :D

Do most police really do what they did in the second, go over evidence with them in a public area while playing games with the accused, why cannot they just say accusations have been made against you and we need you to accompany us to the station.
