It was a boxing match, not a cage fight. And Tito's boxing even in his prime was his weakest aspect of his tool set. Dana is actually a decent Boxer and in pure boxing would of had a good shot to lay it on Tito.

Dana claims his amateur record was 13-4. But that's according to Dana on his jre interview. So that could be false. But either way, a 13-4 amateur boxer should get the piss knocked out of them by a professional mma fighter in an mma match. But wasn't this a boxing match? Tito has REALLY bad stand up. He acts NOTHING like how someone in his position should. Like what other promoter actively picks favorites and trashes / bets against employees ?? I remember guys like Roy Nelson, Dan Henderson, Mayhem Miller etc he treated like absolute shit despite them doing him so many favors. Even reporters that would ask tough questions he would belittle or refs that fucked up instead of firing them he would publicly berate them. So many fighters waiting for title shots that aren’t big sellers are repeatedly fucked off for guys like Jon Jones, McGregor, etc. if you’re Dana’s friend he will rig it all for you.

I wish this actually took place. This era was amazing... truly WWF-esque, with a fighter going against the boss, and Tito was hugely popular back then. It's crazy to think Tito actually had a win over Ryan Bader...who then went on to demolish nearly everybody and become LHW and HW champion in Bellator.
