I too had "go to moves", someone also told me the harsh truth that even with talent, you need variety and improv skills for on the spot transitions..so as to not contune to look alike and unskilled. I could stop a crowd with my dancing back in my day..but when someone told me the harsh reality, I knew it wasn't an insult, it was a chance to improve. She should see it the same way.

The fact that she's talented is irrelevant, it's not fun to watch, or compelling, or charismatic. It's boring, and that trumps technique.
