John has sung with Tom Jones among many others World renowned artists. The guitarist, American born Mark Lizotte is known as Diesel (Diesel & the Injectors band, is Jimmy’s brother in law and a great performer in his own right.

They do have bucketloads of talent, and have been sharing this talent with us Aussies for the last 40 or so years. We love both of them to bits.

I saw you had mentioned you've already seen a live version of this. The one performed on Australia's old variety show Hey Hey It's Saturday is the go-to imo as they finish the song as an acapella trio with Diesel joining them. It is brilliant.

The guitarist is Diesel, Jimmy’s brother-in-law. Their wives are sisters. John has the most amazing vocal range. He can sing anything & I have been a fan for 50 years. His concerts are jam-packed with middle aged fans who grew up with him, like me. There is a new documentary called John Farnham: Finding The Voice. You should watch it if you can. His late manager & best friend Glenn Wheatley helped revive his career (thank God!). His belief in John’s talent was amazing & prophetic.

Yes John is a chameleon! I feel like it might have been difficult for him to figure out an artistic direction at times because he can literally do anything. A recommendation for next is the remastered video of him singing Reminiscing when he was in Little River Band, different again from what you've seen so far.

John could sing the phone book. Literally!!! He doesn’t copy songs he makes them his own. He can sing any genre, rock. Pop. Opera. Musical theatre (he played Jesus in the Lloyd - Webber musical Jesus Christ Superstar). Ballads, he loves Stevie Wonder and often performs one of Stevie’s songs acapella with his entire band. He sings gospel and warms up his voice to Led Zeppelin’s Black dog and does it better than Robert Plant!! He sings country. He’s naturally brilliant and we love him♥️love from Oz🇦🇺.

He can sing anything from love songs with Olivia Newton-John (The Main Event); semi-Opera with Australia's Phantom Of The Opera (Anthony Warlow, also at The Main Event); Black Dog; gospel (Amazing Grace with Venetta Fields and Lindsay Field) PLUS he's a genuinely nice guy.
