You kidding, right? Either that, or you're a dimwit. Murray hit his own coach of the time, Ivan Lendl. It was an exhibition match, which no-one ever takes seriously, and Lendl thought it was as funny as Murray and their entire team did.

But it was an exhibition match, everyone was laughing at that situation,not only Murray,but Lendl did that,too...how would you compare this one to professional matches? And at the end Murray said "Sorry" but everybody knows about the fact that this episode is so too weird to confirm that he is a "old poor man"... what's wrong? I'm a Federer fan but I admit that I don't comprehend why Roger didn't apologize to Monfils.

I had one in mind I was hoping to see again, but it wasn't in this compilation. Can't remember his opponent, but he hit a lob over Agassi's head and Agassi got there to hit it very hard over his shoulder right back to the middle of the net hitting his opponent who was completely unprepared for that unexpected shot from Agassi.

Love tennis and play at least twice a week but carrying on about getting hit is silly when it doesn't even hurt that much. A bit of sting, but isn't breaking bones like a cricket ball. Played cricket for 20 years and the impact pain of a tennis ball is nothing in comparison.

I started playing tennis relatively recently and everyone at my club seems really chill about getting hit at the net “yeh I’ve been bruised all over but it is what it is”. Yet pros get so angry, it’s really funny.

You all lack knowledge of tennis - the point is not the physical hurt its the intent. What if you get hit in the eye? It can do more damage to a pro tennis player's career than you think. Think before posting guys.

Lol the Djokovic slander is quite funny. The shot down the middle is the best option for Djokovic because if he hit it anywhere else Federer would've finished the point and it is more likely to mess up Federer's footwork because he'd be indecisive on whether it was a forehand or backhand volley next(which it did, if you watch, you'll see that the ball was hit to Federer's backhand, but he set up for a forehand). Also, if you watch again, you will see Djokovic start to gesture the apology, but the entire clip isn't shown before the camera focuses in on Federer. Nadal also hit the best possible shot because it would not allow Djokovic to anticipate anything. Norrie could've hit it anywhere else and won the point but I guess it happens. Everyone was frustrated when they got hit and they have every right to be. However, that doesn't change the fact that all three shots are completely legal.

The most famous one was left out. Lendl on Gerulaitis in the 1980 Masters final when Lendl almost took Gerulaitis' head off.

If it's not a smash and not intentionally trying to hit the face or the groin, it's fair. Smashes are a little different though, they'll definitely leave a welt and could cause actual injury.

No, he was looking at the ball, so he had no idea what Djokovic was doing. You simply decide on an area of the court to hit into, and it's just a little unfortunate if your opponent happens to be there without your knowledge.

ofc not, its a kind of pathetic to turn around while being at the net and your opponent is having a smash. the most simple and obvious solution is going to the opponent's body what is nothing wrong i guess (especially when you are focused on a ball and your shot, not the opponent's actions as Norrie)? it makes the so called "goat's" reaction even more pathetic and childlish

Some Djoko fans don't seem to understand why he's not more popular. For me, it has everything to do with his on-court behavior/attitude. Off-court, he seems like a nice guy. But every time he gets hit at the net, he acts like a melodramatic baby... like his opponent is a terrible person. Are body serves bad? Same thing -- your opponent is trying to jam you up. If you're gonna get all pissy because you couldn't block it, then pick another sport. It's Djok's frequent attitude of aggrievement that costs him some fans.
