Pretty Fl and handsome Ml with good acting by the cast. It is odd that the Ml and Fl were married for 3 years but had never met each other. This version is easier to watch than the vicious version. The actors all do a great job presenting the script. There are still stereotypical elements, though. The SFL is believed over the FL, the SFL is given chances over and over, the evil parents are forgiven completely, and of course, the FL goes back to the ML. I wonder why the evil parents are let go so easily and get annoyed. But......... the Chinese culture is not something I completely understand and it might have to do with the word filial.
