The scenes for the Video were set in California at the Vasquez Rocks. This was also used as a set for the original Star Trek series episode, The Arena, where Kirk battled with the Gorn creature.

Last year the wife and I visited Frankenmuth, touristy Christmas town. Got to the info desk asked what was happening,this litttle old lady. Gave coupons for cheese and said we got this up and coming band. I turned and rolled my eyes. Got to understand this town is known for POLKA,a month later hiway tunes came radio.My apologies to the little old lady! Now, I listen to GVF every day.

Obetrol was an amphetamine that they gave actresses back in the day for weight loss... to me the song sounds like it's about an aging Starlet that is just aging..LOL and they say "once a valley doll"... the rise and fall of some different aged starlets was the movie Valley of the Dolls. Some were pill heads and alcohol was involved... Josh said that the Arts were important to him not just music but movies. I like the review I think you guys were pretty spot on about a lot of it is far as the video goes there's a lot of spiritual religious undertones I counted at least 9 starting in the very beginning were Jake Jack's straighten to mother Earth to the picture of Gaia behind him the druids the mystics you could also see Moses the burning Bush You could also see the 2 girls as the Virgin amongst many other things then it gets into the Aurora borealis And spiritual astral undertones And that doesn't even delve into the desert trip undertones which I took more of paoti being the desert And then of course you have to acknowle the Sun worshipers and the apocalyptic symbolism Of the Sun around in the moon There's many cool elements to this video as far as the way they dress they are very eclectic and dress that Way all of the time it's not just a show the very plugged in to nature their whole theme is peace love and unity they stand very true to that on and off stage both and all 4 of them have been together since 1st grade great Band I hope you do .more reviews. I'm with you guys - WTF? Sadly the s*t*n*c music industry elites insert their symbolism into the artist's work when they become popular. Next we'll see J-Z in one of their music videos! Sorry can't sugar-coat it; been researching this subject over a year, & there is definitely an agenda with the industry. Many great artists have been swallowed up by it - Lady GG, Bieber, Katy P., Ma-Donna etc... Was so excited for GVF; & then a few mths. ago started seeing the signs. So sad:(
