Due to govt.'s failure, many many have lost their valuable life. Even care given by govt. for cows and it's urine not given to respected valuable life humanity by this begging states and central govt. Even dead bodies were thrown out in Ganga river.

I live in Allahabad. This area is 5-6 km away from my home. This is a Yamuna river bank. If you go to Ganga' bank then condition is even more horrible.

If the body is not buried deep the dogs will dig it up . Rest in peace to all that was abandoned, human race let you down .

My only request to you please visit crematoriums in Maharashtra & Delhi as well also in Punjab, which account for highest of deaths due to covid. Why you have confined yourself to UP, where the tradition to burry the dead near Holi Ganga or Sangam has been there for quite a long. I am not saying this to dispute your story.. The fact of the matter is,as per official statistics, maximum deaths due to covid have sofar taken place in Maharashtra which are 87300, followed by Karnataka 24658 and Delhi 23013 as compared to 18978 in UP which has the highest population among all Indian states. Punjab which is one of the richest states of India has clogged 13089 covid deaths. Similarly, Tamilnadu recorded 20046 deaths & west Bengal 14208. Are these states doing well? Or your reporting whic remains UP centric tends to say that UP is exceptional among all Indian states in hiding the Covid death. If that is true, you are a true journalist. But, if you are focusing your energies on UP only, which apprentlly appears, you certainly have a motive and your credibility will be doubted by those who are in the habit of checking the facts. By the way as a journalist, you must be aware that the US the Richest & powerful country of the world have lost 589702 people owing to covid though its population is nearly 4 times less of India and only 10 crore higher than UP. So even if the official Covid death data of UP at 18978 as of date is grossly understated by the government by 4 times, which means actual deaths may be around 75912.Even then the poorest state of India has done exceptionly well compared to the US in terms of fatalities out of Covid. It is up to you, which way you want to see it which way you want see Maharashtra, one of the richest states of India. Choice is yours, because you have the platform which I do not have. But, I challenge you to counter me if you have the guts and facts. Respond me on facts if you are a true journalist. Have the courage.

In two months time , when the water level rises, semi decomposed bodies will start rising up to the surface and will flow downstream.

I have many relatives in Prayag raj . And fafamau area . These are not covid bodies. These are the bodies of saints and sanyasis Who died and buried according to tradition. After last mahakumbh this place was given to them for last rituals. Another thing saffron cloth is only used for sadhus and sanyasi. Rest of all grihasth hindus use white cloth to cover body before cremation.
