I don’t really like it in my opinion. Since it’s breaking the illusion of theatre. I think if you’re doing some REAL then give them the REAL deal. Because in Wesley Taylor’s version of plankton he doesn’t have it the whole time. In Bikini Bottom day he has a plush during his intro to focus peoples eyes on the real guy when it gets taken away. He also has it on his foot when he break dances in When The Going Gets Tough.

Wow this was like the original Chicago recording- if you don’t know what I mean, they had made this musical once and it was really long. After they edited it and changed a few of the costumes and deleted dioluage it was ready for brodway. You can tell this is the Chicago recording because it’ was spongebobs first design
